Connections and Rainforest Cafe? Help Please??

Hello!

I just joined Connections yesterday and ordered vouchers. On the Mousesavers site, it says that the Vacation Kingdom Lunch vouchers can be used at the Rainforest Cafe at Animal Kingdom. Does anyone know if they can also be used at the Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney?

Hi,

It's been reported a couple of months ago that you cannot use the vouchers at DD... But definitely enjoy them at AK!!!

I was planning on going to Downtown Disney on our last day if we have a late flight, and was hoping to use the voucher to eat at Rainforest there.

Oh well, plans change! I guess maybe we'll be eating there on our AK day!!

Debbie, when is your vacation? The last reportedly received sit-down voucher still had a May 2002 expiration date. I have held off ordering these because we're going in June. Perhaps when yours arrive, you can post if they expire after 5/02?? If they aren't late enough, you can exchange them w/in 90 days according to Connections website.

I'm going in June, also.
I had read on a thread (somewhere!) from someone who recently received all 3 kinds of vouchers, that they all had expiration dates of May, 2003. I sure hope so!

I'll post as soon as I get mine and let you all know! I ordered 2 of the Breakfasts, 10 Quick and Casuals, and 2 Vacation Kingdom Lunches.

Hi CDoobee -

We used the Lunch vouchers at AK Rainforest and had a great time. You'll like this Rainforest more than DD because the wait is much less and they accept PS.

They will accept the Lunch vouchers for dinner and are able to order Stuffed LOBSTER(!) as a the main course.

PS - Volcano is a large brownie ala mode dessert. When they bring it out to your table, everyone yells "Volcano"! It's kinda funny.

I'm sure the AK Rainforest will be fine! However, since I'm a vegetarian I won't be ordering the lobster! HAHA I wouldn't have eaten that even when I wasn't a veggie!
