I know this has been discussed but what is the going rate for tipping mousekeeping. We will have 2 rooms and 6 people including a 2 year old. Do I need to leave a tip in both rooms?

We've always tipped $1/per day/per person in room. ($4/day) We always tip each day because we never know if our mousekeeper is the same.

We tip $1/for each piece of luggage to be brought up to our room and back down to lobby when leaving.

Since you'll be in two rooms you might want to leave something in both.

Yes - you should tip in both rooms. Don't put it all in one room, just in case there are two different mousekeepers. We usually tip $2 per day per person, unless there are problems.

$5 a day ... you must get alot of towels or toys doing spectacular things or staying at the Grand Floridian! :D

Personally, I am like the others $1-$2 per day per room. More if I request anything. $5 would probably be the tops for me but I wouldn't do it everyday.

are they twins, they are very cute. I hate to admit that I once didn't tip at all. Was feeling poor, was on a great package deal but had little spending money. Felt so guilty. I have worked for tips. so now i always do the 2-3 per night. But we are a family of 5.

I admit it I am not much of an animal person so I have only given Ak a quick glance seeing the safari, camp minnie mickey and Lion King. We paln to go for a 1/2 day again. What is a good order to see things and what should we not miss? How is the train ride and conservation place? If we go to the character breakfast at 8:00 can we get back out to see the awakening ceremony and when and where does that take place? If we can't see the awakening should we skip the breakfast to catch it? Thanks I hope your tips will make AK better this time. PS...We are not bug or dinosaur ride people either :D :D

Yes, if you're going to tip, leave seperate tips in both. It's quite possible the rooms will be serviced by a different housekeeper. Average is $1-2 per person, per day. When in a deluxe and getting turndown service, I leave another $2 total per room.
