That is just too much!!!!!!!! It doesn't even sound fun to me. Twenty-one days traveling with that many kids, different family members traveling at different times. I'd be worried the whole time.

Hey again everyone....You wont believe what I found today here in Vegas...A Disney Outlet store!! :cool1: I was so excited! and the best part was that they ship the stuff you buy out for you so you dont have to carry it back in your luggage:thumbsup2 I was able to buy some disney pin sets for pretty cheap...I think I could have easily bought the whole store :rolleyes1 I was so happy though because I could get my Disney fix here in Vegas. I think that has been the best place I have been here so far during this trip :lmao: As a matter of fact Mike and I are discussing going back there again before the end of our trip to shop some more and get more things...he was surprised that I didnt buy more..I told him that I was actually holding back because I didnt want to seem greedy :confused3

What is the Disney mickey stick figures that we are talking about ??? Just curious to see if its anything that I need to look into :rolleyes1

I tried to flip it to landscape and it did print all from left to right, but it missed a lot at the end of each page. Is there some way for me to print this list in its entirety?

Just out of curiosity, I just DCL website today to see what the availablity is on our cruise. They still have room available in every cat 4-12. This surprised me because on our last cruise by this time there were some availabilty in a few cats but not all. Could this mean that we are not going to have a full ship? Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't mind a little extra breathing room on the ship, especially around the pool areas.

Oh now, you are asking a computer idiot a question like that?!? I don't know what it would be. You e-mailed it to me. I opened the e-mail and then pressed print. I did know that within the print screen, I could press options and set it on landscape to get it wider. Does any of this make sense to you?

Just checking in and saying hello b4 I drop off for the night. Work has been brutal this weekend, and I have 4 more days to go b4 my weekend begins:headache:

Started off behind on Saturday and finished Sunday even MORE behind than i was yesterday. Trust me Shauna I am definitely NOT having more fun than you.

Good Evening Fellow Parrotheads!!

We had a busy but nice day!! Took Steve into Charleston to meet the charter bus to take him to Baltimore. Came home, packed the truck and left just before 10 to back to Charleston for the Kick Off Classic. Was there until 230. Stripped Connor of his pads and went to TGIFridays for a late lunch/early dinner, we call it Linner. Stopped in Stapes to find Iron On Transfer Paper for a LASER printer, they don't have it, but did get the boys each a "trapper keeper" for school. It's not actually a trapper, but that gives you an idea of what it is. Then we came home, Connor showered and I cut grass and cussed and watered flowers. Got my shower and tried to upload the photos to PictureTrail and it's not working right. I"ll try again in a bit. Connor had so much fun today, but he is EXHAUSTED. We are starting the night time school schedule too. It's especially easy with Steve out of town because I go to bed earlier. Steve stays up late. It's always been that way. I am a morning person, he is a night owl.
tomorrow I have to take my truck to the autobody shop. :sad1: I'll probably get it back Wednesday. Then it's waiting on the A/C guys to come and replace our thermostat upstairs. How long can we drag this out? heat pump, attic fans, thermostat......and over 2 months of my time! Then it's off to football practice, again!

I think the Stick Figures that Nancy is refering to, are the ones in my siggy! I just love them! I have them printed and on my fridge!

Speaking of printing, I have a dilema. My wonderful, loving, adorable husband, gave away our inkjet printer when he purchased us this top of the line HP Laser printer. Now I can't print magnets AND I can't print iron ons! He did some research last night and I can not use the ink jet transfers in the HP Laser. The HP gets so hot that it melts the paper in the machine and gums it up! PLUS the laser transfers have to be ironed on with a professional iron as it needs a temp of 475 and so many pounds of pressure. Soooooo, I can't decide whether I should ask a friend to print it for me, find out if Staples or Office Max can do this, OR just go and buy a cheap as I can find Color ink Jet to have to print all my stuff! For what I would pay to have stuff printed and laminated, I could probably buy a printer. WWYD?

I have to share this odd story. Last night, while DIS'ing, I can hear someone from across the pond talking loudly. It was a guy who lives over there, sitting outside, I assume there was someone out there with him. No loud music or anything, just loud talking, the breeze must have been blowing the noise towards our house. We went to bed about 12:30, still talking!!! Then my dog wakes me up barfing, so I grab her off the bed and take her in the bathroom. When she's done, I realize good grief, he is still talking! I ask dh, what the heck time is it that he is still outside talking? It was 5:01 AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to share this odd story. Last night, while DIS'ing, I can hear someone from across the pond talking loudly. It was a guy who lives over there, sitting outside, I assume there was someone out there with him. No loud music or anything, just loud talking, the breeze must have been blowing the noise towards our house. We went to bed about 12:30, still talking!!! Then my dog wakes me up barfing, so I grab her off the bed and take her in the bathroom. When she's done, I realize good grief, he is still talking! I ask dh, what the heck time is it that he is still outside talking? It was 5:01 AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A few days later, someone got hurt and was complaining. The coach said, Stop your whining and take a look at Cunningham's arm! You don't have anything to whine about! Well, then ALL the boys wanted to see his bruises! LOL

Allen, that is what I am thinking. For probably less then $50 we can get a decent printer for just this kind of stuff. I did see one in the Big Lots Ad this week for $22. I am SURE it's refurbished, but would that even matter? I doubt it. For as little as we would use it.

I know! At the middle school the bleachers are SO much smaller. It's actually harder to watch the game. in this big stadium you can see all the players from above not from the side.

I am going to go to bed! The dogs have been out and the boys have brushed thier teeth. It's lights out for this house! I'll be up early tomorrow! See you then!

That sounds about right.. $50 or $60 should get you a decent printer. Just be sure to set the print resolution as high as it will go and get some extra ink!!!

We bought a roll on cooler bag today. I might have to do a test run and toss in a bunch of beer cans ;)

Had to go back to the auto body shop! Kevin locked my keys in the truck! They were in the ignition, so I didn't think you could do that!? I am going to have to read about that, since I leave my keys in the truck when I have it in the garage. I would hate to lock myself out!

Since I had to go back out, I swung through Tim Hortons and got a French Vanilla Cappuccino and a dozen doughnuts. Got home just in time to meet the A/C guys!!!

Steve called at 630 this morning on his way to breakfast. I was still asleep though! Anyway, he told me that the rumor is that the concert for tonight is BILLY JOEL! I would LOVE to see him in concert! I bet it's going to be great!

I better get some of my chores done. I got an email from the band teacher and Connor is to pick up his trombone between 10 and 12 today. I have to remember to get earplugs on the way home too....

We bought a roll on cooler bag today. I might have to do a test run and toss in a bunch of beer cans ;)

I was told NO by the Disney folks and it is printed in the Passporter as well as the Disney booklet that you cannot except for medical purposes.

We have been OK'd to bring on a small cooler for my DD6's medications that need to be kept cold, but a roll-on?

I think as long as it fits through the xray machine and is soft sided you can...

we will be bringing one on as well for Sean's meds (several bags of IV medications)

I just found a Canon Printer that had good reviews for under $50! I am going to run to Best Buy and get it! It said on the web that it is in stock. I can start printing today! (If I can get the dang thing connected and running! LOL)

Nancy, did you try Walmart for Tshirts? I got Connor's in the boys dept for $3, mine and Colton's in the men's for $4.50 and Steve's in the big guys for $5.50! I think they are Hanes T's.

Coffee and caffine are kickin' in!!! later!

Oh and Renee, I don't know the answer to your question. It seems there is a lot of controversy as to whether you can or cannot! I plan on having an extra bag, in a bag, to bring a case of water on board.

I am popping on to install my new printer! I went all the way to Best Buy and it was $50. I needed a USB cable, but the only one they had was $32, so I passed and waited to call Steve and see if he had one. Went to Walmart to get a USB cable...it was $11, BUT I also found the exact same printer on the shelf for $38...with a special edition scrapbook kit included. I picked it up and decided to take the other back to Best Buy later this week. BUT when I got to the checkout, the printer rang up for $29.88! WHOO HOO!! SCORE! I got a USB cable too, but Steve has since called me back, so I'll return it too! Needless to say, I got a new printer for our signs and tshirts for under $30!! I did get extra ink too, but that was nearly the same price at both stores.

I have never installed anything on the computer before, so I hope I get it right! Wish me luck!!!

it's a soft sided roll on cooler that we got! and I heard that these were ok as long as you DON'T PUT ICE in it!!!!!! :)

Sending packages ahead of time to the ship:

PLEASE follow these instructions carefully!!!!!!


-ONE box per stateroom, no exceptions.

-The package must have the guest full name, ship, sailing date, stateroom number or GTY if you have not been assigned a stateroom number.

-The package also must have a packing slip attached to the outside of the box that details the contents of the package. For prescriptions, a copy of the prescription is sufficient. Your list may or may not be read but it must have one. Write packing slip on the outside of the envelope.

-NO FOODS/DRINKS OF ANY KIND, LIQUOR OF ANY KIND, FIREARMS, ETC.. This may cause the dogs to hit on your box and that would be a bad thing.

- The required size of the cartons you are shipping down have to be about the size of a record storage box 12 inches on a side and should not weigh more than 20 lbs. (This has been asked personally by Dave Adams who is the owner)

Address your package(s) to:

IDS c/o (Ship Name) / Ground Services
Guest Name / Stateroom # (GTY, if you don't know what it is when you send the package)

In the bottom left corner of the top of the package put the following information:ATTN: HOUSEKEEPING

Packages must arrive by 5:00 PM on Friday for Saturday and Sunday sailings.

Packages must arrive by 5:00 PM on Wednesday for Thursday sailings.

If your box is hit on by the screening dog or chosen for additional screening they will open the list and the box and look through it. They will close it back up and provided nothing bad is in it then it will be in your room as usual later after boarding.

These boxes will be coming on the ship with the crew mail among other things so they may be in the staterooms later then they were before as they are low priority in the scheme of things for Disney.

Good Evening Fellow Parrotheads!!

We had a busy but nice day!! Took Steve into Charleston to meet the charter bus to take him to Baltimore. Came home, packed the truck and left just before 10 to back to Charleston for the Kick Off Classic. Was there until 230. Stripped Connor of his pads and went to TGIFridays for a late lunch/early dinner, we call it Linner. Stopped in Stapes to find Iron On Transfer Paper for a LASER printer, they don't have it, but did get the boys each a "trapper keeper" for school. It's not actually a trapper, but that gives you an idea of what it is. Then we came home, Connor showered and I cut grass and cussed and watered flowers. Got my shower and tried to upload the photos to PictureTrail and it's not working right. I"ll try again in a bit. Connor had so much fun today, but he is EXHAUSTED. We are starting the night time school schedule too. It's especially easy with Steve out of town because I go to bed earlier. Steve stays up late. It's always been that way. I am a morning person, he is a night owl.
tomorrow I have to take my truck to the autobody shop. :sad1: I'll probably get it back Wednesday. Then it's waiting on the A/C guys to come and replace our thermostat upstairs. How long can we drag this out? heat pump, attic fans, thermostat......and over 2 months of my time! Then it's off to football practice, again!

I think the Stick Figures that Nancy is refering to, are the ones in my siggy! I just love them! I have them printed and on my fridge!

Speaking of printing, I have a dilema. My wonderful, loving, adorable husband, gave away our inkjet printer when he purchased us this top of the line HP Laser printer. Now I can't print magnets AND I can't print iron ons! He did some research last night and I can not use the ink jet transfers in the HP Laser. The HP gets so hot that it melts the paper in the machine and gums it up! PLUS the laser transfers have to be ironed on with a professional iron as it needs a temp of 475 and so many pounds of pressure. Soooooo, I can't decide whether I should ask a friend to print it for me, find out if Staples or Office Max can do this, OR just go and buy a cheap as I can find Color ink Jet to have to print all my stuff! For what I would pay to have stuff printed and laminated, I could probably buy a printer. WWYD?

Now about your dilemna. For our magnets, I'm having Rich print them out at work on his laser printer on regular paper. Then I'm taking them to Office Max or some such store to have them laminated. I was going to go that route too, but for what I would spend on laminating and magnets, and not knowing how I was going to get the shirts done, I figured a printer was the way to go. And for under $30, that can't be beat!!!!! When Steve called today, I told him, your either going to be mad at me or okay with it, but I bought a new ink jet. He seemed okay with it and told me good luck with installing it. I had never done that before, but it was easy! I have our Ears for the doors, green mickey heads, mickey stick figures and the Tag You're It signs printed. Once we did those, we rushed off to Best Buy to return the printer, Walmart to return the USB cable and to get another set of shirts and more transfer paper. Colton would like to put the black Mickey heads with our names on the front and the Beware of Pirates on the back! I think they'll be cute!
I also need more magnetic paper, but Walmart had none!!!

Someone took this from her flight yesterday out of LAX about 4:15, just before the Magic left L.A.!!!!!!!!!
See that little water area on the other side of the Magic??? On the other side of the water there is a long grass area with a sidewalk. If you look closely you might be able to see it!!! Anyway, it has benches all along there with those binocculer machines lined up along there too!!!!! That's where we were when we looked at the Magic in May!!!!!

I think this is a the best shot of the Magic in San Pedro!!!!!!!

Colton and I have eye Dr appts in the morning. Then it's back home to finish organizing/cleaning. My inlaws are suppose to come Sunday for the ball game and stay the night. That bedroom has become the black hole and I HAVE to get it gutted before they get here! LOL They are prediciting that Hurricane Fay will come right over WV...either Friday, Saturday or Sunday. And when you live where the hills are, water runs down hill and either erodes the ground or fills the valleys and then we have flooding! If it's a slow steady rain, it might not be bad, but we have been through this before and it's usually a pretty significant rain that will cause flooding!!! thankfully, this house is not in the flood plan and at one of the highest elevations for our neighborhood. The kids like to sled down the hill in front of our house when it snows.

Rich and I have definitely decided to stop there for hte night on our way down to the ship. Looking for a decent hotel just closer to 95. Going through the hotels America's Best seems cheapest, But if anybody's got any suggestions I'll take them.

I usually go with a name brand that I know. Although, I have been burned that way too. We were staying at, was it Comfort Inn?, and when we opened the door to the room, I almost turned around and walked out. But it was 2am, the boys were asleep in our arms and we were beat. I just prayed that the dead body under the bed didn't start to smell soon! Yes, it was THAT wretched!!!

We've been to Savannah several times, but have not stayed near the interstate... however, we have found Holiday Inn Express and Mariott to be the nicest of any. Where is Orangeburg? MOstly we're looking for aplce close to 95 for the drive down. On the drive home we amy go off the beaten path a bit and hit Chrleston, SC or maybe Myrtle Beach.

That thought crossed my mind, but we really needed the shower as we were meeting people the next day! LOL and we still talk about that too! You had to step really high to get into the tub and then Steve hit his head because there was some piece of wood that that was like a header across the length of the shower. It didn't make any sense at all. AND there was a door at the back of the room. we didn't open it because we were sure if it opened to the outside or another room!!! I am 100% absotively posilutley sure that those rooms rented by the hour too!!! I just the heeby jeebies just THINKING that we stayed there! ACK!

Actually I was looking for up the road in SC but really didn't find anything, at least not on their website. Was thinking Charleston, but that's 1.5 hrs out of the way Richard though. He was there last year. Maybe on the way back we'll do that.

My parents stop there every year, and they say that hotels closer to 95 are much cheaper than in the city. So I think we'll go that route, and drive into the city nadh ave a look see b4 finishing the drive. Rich figures its only about 4 hrs more to the port from there.

From the sounds of it a shower might not have even been a good idea there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Once we went to Rhode Island with Bruce's dad for a funeral and he booked the hotel.. BIG MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!! It was a Day's Inn and he got lost getting us there it was really late by the time we got to the room. We walked in and Bruce and I got into the bed and there was blood on the sheets.. It was soo nasty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His dad was the only one who was like oh heck it is only one night.. NOT, his wife and all of us were totally freaked out....!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We did not sleep at all that night we wanted to leave and he did not want to... Never will we let him book us a room ever again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anything near Savannah is going to be expensive!! I would get no closer than Hardeeville, SC. on the north side, or get to or past Richmond Hill, GA, in the south. Even that is near Ft. Stewart, might need to go a little further south.....Still looking.....

Savannah is 8 hrs from here. So that's really as far as we want to go the first day. And actually probably a little further, but that's ok. There were hotels listed near 95 for between 50-80 dollars for the night. I didn't thnk that was too bad.

Orangeburg is in SC....and for the life of me, I can't think of the hotel we stayed at. My friends stayed there too when they drove down. It was right off the interstate, there were 2 hotels with a restuarant between them, gas station across the street. Steve is at the formal dinner and concert tonight, so I can't call. I'll try to remember to ask when he calls later tonight or tomorrow.

well, I am gone. I have to let the dogs out and tuck the boys in. Colton is complaining of an ear ache. Not good. Ever since he was a baby, he would always get ear aches when Steve was out of town! Oh, the stories I could tell about that! One night I put them to bed...usually by 7...and I had 2 wine coolers before 9. Colton woke up SCREAMING of an earache. I called my friend to meet me at the emergancy med center to take care of Connor. I was so afraid they were going to know I had been drinking, and I was alone with the kids AND I had driven there! LOL It's so funny the things that go through your mind!

Actually I was looking for up the road in SC but really didn't find anything, at least not on their website. Was thinking Charleston, but that's 1.5 hrs out of the way Richard though. He was there last year. Maybe on the way back we'll do that.

My parents stop there every year, and they say that hotels closer to 95 are much cheaper than in the city. So I think we'll go that route, and drive into the city nadh ave a look see b4 finishing the drive. Rich figures its only about 4 hrs more to the port from there.They are still higher than most because they are near Savannah. BTW, staying a little north of Savannah is better than south. You are getting near Jekyll Island further south, and that really won't be cheap!! Rich is right on. It's about 4.5 hours from the I-16 & I-95 junction to Port Canaveral!!
