When should we go to HH??

We have never been to HH. Our trips that are already booked include VB and BWV in May and OKW in January. We want to try HH sometime after. We would only be able to book at 7 months out. I don't think I want it to be during the really hot months because we love to bike ride, hike, etc which it sounds like HH has. However, I don't want it to be freezing the entire time so we can't even stick our foot in the water! Am I being too picky? LOL

Anyway, what month would be good to book a 2 bedroom, 7 months out that would still have activities for a then 8 and 6 year old? Thanks!!

I would suggest early October, I think points are lower and the ocean is still warm enough to swim in. We will be going for Thanksgiving this year. If you are from a colder climate, off season is nice. We went in January this year and really liked it. 6 nights 98 points in a 2-BR. It was worth it and we had the resort to ourselves. I would go off season again in a heartbeat. There was only 1 time during our stay that anyone else was in the pool or hot tub. You will love HH. It is the best kept secret of all the DVC resorts.:p
