Bounce-back question

We are headed to WDW in September & hope to take advantage of the bounce-back incentive, but had a couple of questions...
1. Can you bounce-back to another resort? we like to try new places.
2. Can you bounce-back to another resort level? ie. if the rumored dining plan changes take effect, we'd consider moving from moderate to a deluxe level resort.

I've heard a lot about bounce backs but am not familiar with them? How do you get bounce back offers?

I don't recall the specifics, but we were at Pop last weekend, and there was a bounceback offer for (I think) value and moderate resorts for particular dates, but it might have been deluxe too... sorry, can't remember. But yes, we could have bounced back to a different resort, or even a different level resort.

Yes and yes, as long as there is availability. They set aside a certain number of rooms at each resort for the bounceback offers

Just call the number (I think 8844 from your room?) and then ask for what's available. The dates on the card in my room were all past, but I called anyway and got Yacht club for December for 30% off (we were at SSR in June). :)

How far ahead are the bounceback offers? We go the same week every Aug. Would it be for that far out? Or, are the offers only for the next few months?

Current bounceback goes until 12/13 with certain blackout dates
