If i have two adults and two kids, and i pay for the dining plan for 3 nights, i will get 3 ts, 3 qs, and 3 snacks per person.
If one of those nights, i am going to a signature rest. and not taking my kids, can i use one of their ts meals?
How do they track the meals?
is the menu limited?

If they are children 10 or over, yes. If they are children 3-9, no.
They keep track of Adult and child TS meals, counter service meals and snack credits. Each time you use a DDP credit, your receipt will list how many you have left.
The menu is not limited. If there is a surcharge for a particular entree (common on kids menus) then you don't have to pay that.
You get 1 entree, 1 dessert and 1 non-alcoholic beverage at TS (lunch and dinner), 1 entree, 1 juice and 1 non-alcoholic beverage at TS (breakfast) or 1 buffet/all you can eat meal plus beverage at B, L or D for TS.
For Counter service you get 1 entree or combo, 1 dessert, 1 soft drink at L or D - breakfast you can get 1 entree or combo, juice and soft drink/coffee/tea.

I didn't know that. Last year my DD6 ordered the steak off the kids menu at Le Cellier and they charged us the $2.00 extra! :confused3 ???

What if we want to go out WITH her, but she wants to have a Kid's Meal. Can we pay OOP for her, and then use her TS credit later? (She is an adult TS cred).
I'm thinking that if we paid OOP for her all 6 nights we are there, it would igve us--the parents--9 TS cred per person, which we could use to go to more Signature (2ts) restaurants.
Would this be okay?

LizinSTL -
That's what my DH told me. I remember it because I thought it wasn't a bad deal for just $2 she could get to eat steak rather than pasta or a hot dog. Maybe he is the confused one? No, that couldn't possibly be, husband's are never wrong are they??:rotfl:

Your credits are pooled by room. So if your children are over 10 and you have 6 nights at the hotel- your key to the world card will say 4A for 4 adults and you'll have 24 TS credits (all adult) to use in any way you want. You can absolutely use your child's credits for that day to enjoy a 2TS meal. As far as paying OOP for a kids meal for her, just ask.

Thanks LizinSTL! I know that for some places, she would much rather have some Mac n Cheese, rather than sushi, so it's good to know that hubby and I can 'swipe' her TS credits! :rotfl:
