Hi everyone!

This is my first post and I have a question about the voicemail for the podcast. I have been listening for about 6 months now, and I have been trying to get up the nerve to call, but I don't want to sound foolish.

Is there a time limit to the voicemails? Not that I'm going babble on for hours, I just don't to get cut off and be embarassed.

Thankfully the email/voicemail show is on hold for a little bit...maybe I'll get up the nerve by then.

Thanks for the advice!

i thought the email shows are every week....is it the call in show that's on hold ?....
anyway, i don't know if there's a limit, but you could try writing down what you want to say, and then time yourself....
from listening to the email/voicemail shows, it doesn't sound as if there's a limit, but it seems that 3 minutes is a reasonable length....though i've never actually timed anyone's voicemail.....

of course, i'm talking as if i'm an expert....so far i haven't gotten up the nerve to call....i should take a bit of my own advice (as if i ever do  )

As far as I can tell, there is no time limit. It might be helpful to know that after you leave your message you have the option of listening to it and deleting it if you'd like, so there's really no pressure. Last time I called in I think I re-recorded my message 4 times. Haha

Good luck:thumbsup2

I am not sure there is treatment for any premature problems :rotfl:

Not sure if this is a recent change, but I can confirm there is now a time limit, and I hit it twice when leaving a message this past Monday.

Hi Disneygal1,

Take a recommendation by Pete and send a recorded MP3 in via email. You get to practice it and send in something you know you won't be worried about.

I used this Easy MP3 Recorder and it worked great. Just reset the input to microphone and mp3.
