Well I've finally decided to come out of lurkdom, been using these boards for my past couple of trips, recently though I've become addicted and have come to check in many times a day!!:cool1: My husband thinks I'm crazy but appreciates all the info I'm getting here!! My daughter could sit for hours looking at the food porn threads with me, I think she likes the eating at WDW more than I do!:thumbsup2 Anyway, I guess I should introduce myself a little. So here goes,
I was born and raised on the Eastern End of Long Island, that's in New York if you've never heard of it, "The Hamptons" if you want to get fancy;) I am born and raised here, as is DH, and if my property taxes don't triple then so will my DDs They'll have to pry me from my front yard to get me to move!! (Unless of course I was offered permenant residence in the Castle Suite:rotfl: ) As far a Disney goes, the first time I went I was young, not sure how old, but it was only the MK then and I remember seeing the building of Spaceship Earth, it was just a day trip since we were in FL visiting my Aunt from Sarasota, but I LOVED it! Didn't go back until 1999 on a family gift trip paid for by my Mom and Dad, with them and my siblings and their families, a bit hectic if you KWIM especially since mt oldest DD was 1 yo at the time. Finally, we've been in the second week of Feb in 2006 and 2007, not in 2008 because of tight funds but now were currently planning to go Feb 2009 :cheer2: WE CAN"T WAIT!! My younger DD will be celebrating her 4th B-day while there so it should be a really excellent trip.
Anyway thanks for all the help in the past and I'm sure in the future! It'll be great to start contributing to the board after all this time!
