** Where is Publix from VWL? **

I am staying at a studio for the first 2 nights of my upcoming trip, and then changing to a 1BR the 3rd-9th nights, so I would like to go out to Publix when we move to the 1BR. Is it on 192? I know where Goodings is, but its pretty pricey IMO, and we plan to eat a lot of meals in the room. Can anyone give me directions from VWL to Publix?

Does it have to be a publix?

if you drive as if you are heading toward Goodings, then turn left instead of going across the intersection into the Crossroads Shopping Center, there's a new Winn-Dixie 3 lights down on the right hand side (just past and behind the ABC liquor store).

Very good selection, and very reasonable prices.

thanks for your quick response! I know exactly where you're talking about....I think we went to a Denny's or something near there I'd still like to know where Publix is though, if you know! The other thing is, isn't Celebration and KrispyKreme on 192?

Publix is my grocery store of choice. Going to Goodings, you turn right and Publix is about 10 minutes down the road, on the left. It's easily visible from the highway.

We always go to the Publix GrammieMame is talking about. If you hit the lights right, it's not even ten minutes!

It can be a bit tricky because the sign is small and there is a burger king in front of it. If you cross 192, you have gone too far. Prices are very reasonable and they usually have the Entemmenns doughnuts with a thin layer of rasberry under the chocolate icing.... mmmmm..... my favorite.... and NEVER available in Ohio. I know everyone always raves over Krispy Kreme... but we have Krispy Kreme in Ohio... so it's no big deal... I want my rasberry Entemanns!!!

The new Winn-Dix is a very nice store and closer. There is also a super walmart past the Publix. Turn left on 192 and about another 5 minutes.

There is a new Publix going in that should be closer still. It is at the very end of Intl. Drive at the entrance to the new Outlet mall. I think that will be closer from OKW and WLV than the one on 192 at 535 or the ones on 192 west. I suspect the ones on 192 west will be closer for BW and BC, especially if you sneak out behind AKL to 192 but I'll have to check next time we're down.
