Tip for earning extra Disney reward dollars with the Disney Visa Card.

Not only do my wife and I put absolutely everything possible on our disney Visa card, we put many of my parants large bills on our card also. Bills like, monthly country club dues, summer beach house rental, auto repairs etc. They even purchased a new car and their Auto Dealer allowed them to put $5000 of the total cost on our card. In a year and 4 months, we've earned over $1000 disney points and also a free airplane ticket from our chase Master Card. If anyone else has any other ideas for earning points on the Disney Visa Card, I'd love to hear them.

My husband and I do the same thing! We have a family (Disney) cruise coming up in November, and we used our card to pay for both us and our parents, then they just wrote us a check. We're also in the process of finishing our basement, so needless to say, all of those expenses are going to supplement the Mouse, too! We've had the card for just a few months and already have over 200 reward points, though you definitely have us beat! I need all the points I can get since hubby and I will be hitting up Food & Wine before the cruise -- we plan to use the rewards points to help us eat our way around the World!

Don't forget--there is a maximum that you can earn in a calendar year. If I remember correctly its 750. I was just checking my statements to see where we stood and need to call to see if the bonus points we earned count toward the max.

We do the same thing. Everything and anything goes on my card.
Also I use my Easy Pass, Car Ins (All State), Cable Bill (Comcast) & Verizon cells.And my parents trips. And anywhere possibe that takes Visa. I carry no cash. And we rack of some nice Diz rewards

That shouldn't be on there. I know the cap is gone. We discussed this on the Budget Board ... lots of us rec'd an email about a month ago saying that there was no longer a cap. :banana:

I didn't get the email. :confused3 That would be great. We can charge the AKV add-on to get the Reward Dollars!! We were only going to charge the down-payment for the 6 months no interest and then use another reward card for the balance because I thought we'd max out the reward this year.

I'll definitely have to call tomorrow to make sure it applies to everyone.
