Beach or Yacht Club

We are going to be staying at BCV in the fall and my parents who are not DVC members, will be coming to disney as well. They are going to book in either th BC or YC, since they are both close, any suggestions or votes for which is a better facility?deal? closer to the villas? HELP!m ps. dontcha just love all the options of disney!

The BC is definitely closer to the BCV. The amenities are all shared by the three resorts, so that shouldn't affect their choice. The YC rooms all have full balconys. Some of the BC rooms have only "standing" balconys.

I like the BC better - less formal atmosphere - however if you parents do stay at the YC make sure they get the standard rooms - less of a walk. the only time we stayed I got a lagoon view and the walk to the lobby make the BWV a piece of cake. the view was wonderful but the walk to it was not.

Mother was only 76 then - but she really hated it. We found a back stairs and an back elevator - but anytime you needed the front desk (and when the hotel locked the back doors) you had to take the long way.
