I know you can do this in photoshop and picassa, no idea how to do it in elements. this program will let you do it without those programs. :) it looks really easy. 2peas peeps are raving about it. I might "need" it. right now the program is 14.95 for the download and 19.95 if you order a cd. maggie

...and so now I know why "enabler" is your middle name!!!:lmao: That color splash program looks so good - so tempting...;) Tried the card catalog, and the word one too - how much can 1 person handle in less than a 24 hr period????:confused3
Thanks once again - love all these new things - went over to 2 peas and read some of their comments on the color splash - very positive.

I think I am seriously going to have to look into this. I love the look of b/w with the splash of color.

Thanks Maggie.

Ladies, if you have Photoshop or Elements you can do this yourself as easily as it looks like this program makes it. If you have a color photo, you make a copy of the photo and then convert that layer to grayscale. Then, you can erase the parts you want colored to show the color through. Try this tutorial (http://www.taylormade-designs.net/2008/05/black-white-color-tutorial.html)before you spend more money on a program when you probably can do it yourself.

I guess in looking back, you were saying you don't have something like Photoshop or Elements?
