I know there is on St Marten. DH is planning on heading to it. I had to agree he could have time at the casino or he wont step foot on the Disney Magic in November.
DS and I will either go to the beach or an excursion ourselves. Or DS will stay in the Lab and I'll go to the beach. But DH will have his time at the casino in St Marten.

Don't recall any casinos in St. Thomas (but then again, wasn't looking for any). There are a few in downtown Phillipsburg in St. Maarten. However, if you've been to places like Las Vegas, I strongly recommend you heavily lower your expectations. The exteriors of the casinos in Phillipsburg make it look like the places were made out of converted warehouses.

There are no casinos on St Thomas or St John. There are casinos on Dutch Sint Maarten but not on French Saint Martin. Fortunately the ship docks at Philipsburg on the Dutch side.

Most of the downtown Philipsburg casinos are rather seedy-looking with the exception of one... the Coliseum Casino, which is NOT on the main drag, but is probably a $3 taxi ride from the ship, looked fine from the outside. But you know what they say about judging a book by its cover...

The nicest casino on the island is reported to be the Princess Casino at Port de Plaisance.

My Hubby went to a few of the casino's in St. Maarteen, he said they left a lot to be desired. I guess the Atlantis casino in the Bahamas ruined him.:)

The casinos are only in Philipsburg, as everyone has said. I played a few bucks in the Paradise Casino and came out $20 ahead, so take that for what it's worth...the casinos in St. Maarten are close in atmosphere to the Boulder Highway/Henderson/Off-Strip casinos in Vegas (Gold Rush/Skyline/Joker's Wild/Magic Star/Rainbow Club/El Dorado type)...don't expect the Bellagio and the Venetian LOL...
