Mine is the passports
Making sure they are all okay , still in date, E-Passports etc etc.
As far as I am aware, ESTA is not compulsory, and theres nothing else I can think of
Once I am through customs then the rest don't matter !!

Leading up to the holiday, I really worry about the weather and the crowd levels, but I know that there's nothing I can do about either of those, so I try and relax.
I do worry that I may have forgotten something, but I keep a really detailed holiday file, so I can just quickly look through and reassure myself.

For me it's getting to the airport on time and lost/stolen luggage. I don't like spending any longer than I have to in a busy airport, but you have to weigh up the possibility of traffic jams, train delays, forgotten items that you have to go back for...etc
I only really start relaxing once I've arrived at the place we are staying with all our luggage intact.

I dont worry at all... because DH does it all for me!!!:lmao:
We have to check the passports money and tickets 3 or 4 times before we leave home, then again once they're in the car and again when we get to the airport.. even though we haven't got out of the car!!
I'm too busy trying not to get annoyed with him to worry about anything!!

I get worried about my stomach - I have bad IBS and stress makes it loads worse, it's a very vicious circle!
Also, I worry about how my cat will be while I'm away, she's a rescue and has taken a long time to get over her really horrible childhood, and my boyfriend and I are the only people who know exactly how to treat her and how to calm her down if she's really upset.
Every day though she gets a little bit happier and a LOT cheekier!

I worry about how my cat will be while I'm away
I worry about my pets too, luckily my parents and my uncle are house sitting for us whilst we are away as we are going for 3 weeks this time so I know someone will be in the house every day and they will all be able to carry on as usual.
My main worry is the flight, once I am on the aeroplane I am fine, I just hate the whole waiting at the airport!!

That we are gonna miss the connecting flight - solved that for next year flying direct Glasgow-Sanford instead of Edinburgh-Gatwick-Orlando so need something else to stress about.
Oh yeah, I will be OK in mega stress mode as my parents are flying with us - oh that will be fun!!!!

this is my first big holiday
but the other night i dreamt we had forgot the kids lol (wishfull thinking maby lol) a neighbour brought them to the airport (which was actually glasgo fort shopping centre). then i realised there was no clothes for them or cases so at 10 to 11 and it was an 11 o'clock flight im trying to "run" home to get there cases
sadly enough with 6 weeks to go i have now packed some kids clothes lol ( mostly because my 8 year old son will not leave the stuff ibought alone lol but still)

Last year it was driving in the US (which was a breeze!) and this year it's flight delays and/or missing our connections :headache: Mostly 'fear of the unknown' type things!

I get stressed that the kids will get ill. Every year someone we knew went down with chicken pox just before our May trip to WDW. I recently had the kids immunised against chicken pox!
Last year at the end of July, DD4 broke her arm when she rolled off a bouncy castle. It ruined our summer, no swimming, bike riding, etc etc. we had to cancel our trip to Menorca too.
I try to avoid play dates and adventure playgrounds for a few days before we travel. Neurotic i know because they could catch something on the plane or at the airport....

Thankfully none of us worry about anything, even missed a flight Oct 06 to LAX, no worries Virgin got us on next one 3 hours later. Always been brought up to believe everything in life happens for a reason, miss a flight or connection then it wasn't meant to be.

Don't like flying so I worry about that and worry about Joshua being ok on the flight too, it's such a long tiring journey.
the flying, and the kids hurting themselves or being ill

I worry about the M25 traffic on the way to the airport - consequently we usually leave about 5/6 hours before our departure time, which is excessive as on a good day it's only a 45 minute journey from Windsor.
I also worry about completing the customs forms and then the US customs - although it ususually goes smoothly I still worry.
I worry that my suitcase will be hideously overweight
I worry that Virgin will have changed my seat without my knowledge and that the flight could be delayed
I worry about what room OKW will give us
Once I'm at OKW eating a cheesburger and sipping a cocktail all of the worry goes away and I start enjoying myself.

I'ma worrier when it comes to our family holiday:scared: Trying to not think about the two of us getting the same time off work (we work for the same company and same office and this year they are having a restructuring session). Other worries include prices, pet care, pre-flight hotel bookings, ADRs.

I stress about everything...
our $$$ arrived yesterday, i was stressed they would be "big" denominations, but the largest is $100, i worry about dh and my boys travelling on french passports (why???) i worry about ds8 asthma kicking off, him not coping with anything and everything (he has ASD).
I worry about the room being too crowded, losing the kids (we lost the boys at BB last time:rolleyes1.
i worry about not having wnough money (and trust me we are taking plenty) my IBS playing up and spending/wasting a day in the room....
do i get the prize for the biggest worrier?
at 5 days out its a bit late to panic now!

I start worrying about the plans I have made, even though on our first family trip (Aug05) I hadn't discovered these boards & didn't know very much at all. We went during free dining & couldn't understand why we couldn't just turn up for a meal. I don't relax untill i'm on the plane.

For me it's the flight (both it being on time and uneventful as I'm a nervous flyer), the weather (with it being hurricane season) and the parks being busy

Goodness me, I worry so much about our holidays, DH is not a worrier at all and just seems to go with the flow, but me ooohhhh noooo! I worry enough for two of us I think.
I worry about
the passports - will they think the photo looks like me?
the trip to the airport - traffic etc
carrying everything with the kids and pushing buggies etc
flying - not a huge fan of it
the kids on the plane - how will they deal with it?
Oh I worry about everything but I can honestly say that usually it's all for nothing as everything usually goes ok! :)

I think the only thing I worry about and dread is that if something were to happen to any of my family, friends, loved ones who are back home and I'm so far away.
Lots of things cross my mind, the flights :scared1: getting there and back safely, being unwell ,losing important stuff like passports or money  , trouble at customs for OVER shopping :rolleyes1 :guilty: and lots more stuff... but honestly, I don't actually worry about these things, It's excitement all the way and anything that crops up I'll deal with it.

Nice to know I'm not the only one to worry about passports, tickets, overweight luggage, kids falling ill or hating the flight & screamin for 9hrs solid, or me getting on flight and panicing as i am clostraphobic & have been known to faint or feeling sick especially when food is served (hate plane food). But you know something when you arrive at your hotel room with all your luggage, tired kids but happy to be there you know by the next morning all thoughts of the flight & other worries are forgotten at least for the next 14 days !!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

If I so much as sniff, I start to panic - not a good reaction as it'd probably make me worse!

OK I may have changed my mind I am starting to worry, that myself or someone in my family will do something that will end up on the Dis boards. What happens if my son just stops walking and someone runs into him, (I am working on this while we are out but he is only two) or I accidentally bump my stroller into someone, or I forget where I am going, stop and then move over to read the map...... Is it really that bad, or do people mainly realise that people don't do it to be a pain they are just caught up in the moment. It just seems from some of the threads, it doesn't matter what you do, it is the wrong thing and as for being from overseas yikes....

Surprising how many of us who have visited Florida a few times don't like flying. Kind of re-assuring in a strange kind of way.

It is im the same i dont like the flying but its to good a place to visit to not go to because of a fear I can't keep myself away. I think im more scared because I usually get sick on the long distance flights im usually fine until either landing or when we land and the heat hits you and you get cramped stood up waiting to get off the plane and ill get all clostrophobic.

I was'nt going to post on here as i truly am a worrier-i honestly cannot help it.
But because of the above post-i thought i would answer.
That comment is precisely how i feel(i just did'nt want to be the one to say it first). As soon as we take off until we land-so many horrible thoughts cross my mind-i just can't help it.
The worst was when me+hubby went on our belated honeymoon+we left dd who was 2 at the time with Hubby's Mum,well i got myself in such a state thinking if something happened we would never see her again-i was physically sick.
I also worry that something will happen with my Nan(she has so many problems)+Grandad+Mum+my cat's.I have already wrote a letter to my Mum stating what i want to happen if one of my cat's get really ill(they are old).x.

Please don't let threads like that worry you.. Not everyone knows the Disney parks inside and out (I certainly don't, I can get lost in a car park! :lmao:) and in my experience little kids are unpredictable even if you try to do everything 'right' I think most people are understanding, just forums tend to bring out a certain element who feel the need to moan about everything :headache:

I don't usually worry much but now i am. My little girl now has chicken pox:sad1: . We fly in 4 weeks so she'll be fine but my 2 older boys have never had it so there is a very large chance that they will get it. Hopefully they will get it soon but with the incubation period being 2 weeks there is a chance 1 of them could have it when we are due to fly.
