Does anyone know if our plan will still include restaurants like Yak and Yet that aren't yet included on 2009 plan even though our ressies are in January??? And will all the rules of the 2008 plan apply??
Hopefully, since our plan begins in 2008, it will stick throughout our trip but I do foresee issues with CMs and cashiers not knowing...
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!:confused3

As it appears that the 2009 dining plans are exactly the same as the 2008 dining plans (except the counter service plan which I believe can't be booked until January 11), I don't think it's relevant which rules apply. But last year if your trip started in 2007, you were on the 2007 plan for your entire stay.
The restaurants left off the 2009 list are not Disney owned and their contracts re: DDP participation have not been finalized for 2009 yet. You will probably see them put back on the list before the end of the year.

Thanks Nala!
You're absolutely right, I just compared the two plans and they are the same. For some reason, I was thinking that the appetizer for TS was gone but it's right there on the brochure.
Hopefully, the "hold-out" restaurants will jump on board in time. I can't imagine that Yak & Yeti, which is our son's main concern, would not be included.

I hope you are talking about the deluxe plan, because the regular dining plan does not include an appetizer for anyone over age 9.

Obviously, I don't know how to read a brochure!! *Note to self: actually read entire brochure before asking stupid questions on forum.
Thanks again. Hopefully, I have it straight now.
Last time we did the deluxe plan and the appetizer was too much anyway, not to mention all the TS meals, so this way is just as well. Maybe I'll gain 5 less pounds while we're there this time.;)
