Soooo. We are getting the dining plan, and I have dinner reservations at Le Cellier and Narcosseees...

Where else should we go?? Its just me and my husband and we are really flexible on our eating times.

As for counter service we want to try the fish and chips in Epcot and Flame tree BBQ.

I have heard good things about Kona Cafe and Boma.

I will be trying Kona in September.

Bomas is a not to be missed restaurant; and you will get to see the goergeous animal kingdom lodge.

You should also try and book the fantasmic dinner package at hollywood & vine or mama melroses , so that you will get seating for fantasmic also.

Here are our favorites at each park (and we also mention our two least favorites at the end where we refuse to eat):

Magic Kingdom -- Crystal Palace for breakfast with Pooh and friends...love the puffed french toast and potato casserole (and being two adults should not keep you away..DH and I go every year and we are 55 and 50 and we wouldn't miss it); Plaza Restaurant -- a nice change of pace from all the "heavy" meals we eat the rest of the week on the dining plan (they have great sandwiches--burgers, club, reubens, grilled chicken and terrific sundaes)

Epcot -- LeCellier and Biergarten

Animal Kingdom -- We LOVE Flame Tree Barbecue. As for table service, we've never done (we are not fond of Rainforest Cafe--have them in Chicago and ate at the one in Vegas--expensive, and only so-so food). We are trying Yak & Yeti for table service this year

Hollywood Studios -- Mama Melrose. Good food (not great, but better than a lot of table service restaurants we have gone to).

We will avoid at all costs: Hollywood & Vine at the Studios and Boatwright's for dinner at the Port Orleans Riverside.

Some of our favorites include --
EPCOT -- LeCellier, Tutto Italia, The Coral Reef, The Garden Grill
MK -- CRT, Liberty Tree Tavern (I think they've cancelled characters)
DHS -- Hollywood & Vine, Mama Melrose -- They're both "ok"
Contemporary -- Chef Mickey's (characters)
Polynesian -- Kona Cafe
GF -- Grand Floridian Cafe, 1900 Park Faire(characters)

I'm sure you'll get plenty of replies to your question! Everybody has different favorites & also those places that they'll NEVER go to again!

Whatever you do, plan ahead and give yourself plenty of time. I noticed in your sig that you're going in a little over a month - I believe Free Dining is still on during that time and people are going nuts with their inability to find any TS restaurants available.

Just a heads-up.

:cool1: :hippie: O yes Flame Tree BBQ-Ribs and a quiet spot along the river and Le Cellier great choices.
Maybe Rose & Crown ADR's for about 7:30 to get the best view of Illuminations not the best food choices but a great place and Pub.
Coral Reef -Me and Dw last 2 and this coming free DDP really like the place. Consider the Hoop DEE Doo. Ribs/BBQ Chicken all the beer or wine included and tip and neat show included. Maybe Capt Jacks in DTD real good twin lobsters and the restaurant sits out on the bay. And can't forget Tepen Edo food prepared on grill by Japanese chef at your table or San Angle great atmosphere dine by candle light. So many great places in EPCOT. We are trying Spoodles and Big River Grill new to us this Sept. both at Boardwalk. At Poly Kona and Ohana, I could just keep going on and on.
Boma for breakfast WOW, trying Crystal Palce this year for breakfast.

Hi ACE! Glad to see you're already set with Narcoossee's :yay:

Coral Reef was great at lunch (nice AC break). Dinner is probably good too.

Boma dinner was divine and we plan on trying bfast.

Chef Mickey's bfast was our only character meal and it was AWESOME. If you only do one character meal CM's is the place: Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald in one place. They ask you to wave your napkin in the air there is music, a little dancing if you please and oh yea plenty of food. We didn't go for dinner, but the sundae bar gets mentioned a lot!

Counter service Main Street Bakery: dessert is really the entree and we loved our Basil Mozz sandwich too! We really didn't like Peco Bill's. Even our 5yo refused to eat his fries :sad2: others love it so go figure. We stayed at CBR and liked our food court.

We have ADRs for California Grill (this will be our first time) and we have heard good things about that restaraunt. It is in the Contemporary Resort.

Coral Reef is one place that my hubby, daughter and I love. It is next to the Living Seas with Nemo and Friends. You will truly enjoy the atmosphere and the food. :thumbsup2
