and when I thought about the fact that instead of paying the IRS , I could buy 300 pts to enjoy for 40 yrs! It was hard to actually let the envelope go :( (guess ya cant enjoy DVC from federal prison) :jester: Mae

Oh Wow GMboy, you're from my hometown! And YES, we took EVERY deduction we possibly could and still had to pay what I would have to pay for a 300 pt contract free and clear, at BVC :( Bummer, huh? Mae (ouch)

We're expecting quite a bit back....an add-on is incredibly tempting since we only have a few points at VWL....but I think a new laptop has won out. This time.....
Of course next year VWL won't be available anymore! :(
I had exactly that experience on the 15th.
I was feeling really bad about having to give in my taxes too until I read your note about federal prison. It is better than prison.
Thanks for putting things in perspective.

God do I agree!!! That Tax money would have paid for our recent 50 point add-on.... it was very hard to write the check!!!

Boy, after reading your posts I'm thanking my lucky stars for our kids!! We have 5 and got back such a great refund this year that we made our first DVC purchase at BCV:bounce: It didn't pay for the whole thing, but we were able to put a substantial amount down. I guess I should enjoy it while I can, huh?
