Okay, here's a good example of being nickeled and dimed to death.
JetBlue to charge $7 for pillow, blanket kit

JetBlue to offer 'eco-friendly' pillow, blanket kit for $7, replacing recycled offerings.

Now really... who's going to pay for this? But but but, its ECO FRIENDLY!!! ;)

no one wants to hear that it's ECO friendly, they have to take a page out of Disney's book and say it was "due to guest feedback":rotfl:

Wow, that's an awesome site, thanks for sharing! :thumbsup2
But in the end, I feel a bit bad for the airlines... they are trying (and failing) to find creative ways to make up the higher cost of fuel.

Great website that sidestep!
Anyone run across any other ways we are being nickeled & dimed to death. Disney or even non-Disney??

That's why I've used Southwest for the past 3 trips to WDW. Price is right & no extra bag charges. They could cut back on the nuts and soda.

I see this kind of good in a way.
People only pay for items they use.
If the give me a discount, I would pay for my own soda and snacks.
YMMV

If you are going to pay for warm nuts, I'd suggest you see a specialist.

I truly dont know that it could be sorted out...or explained...or that either should be done.
Consider it a "moment in time".

A professional nut warmer?
I could point you in the right direction.

From here: http://www.bobsliberace.com/decades/1970s/1970s.15.html
and.... you were expecting something else?

This Liberace souvenir from 1975 is just so... wacky, that I had to have it. The dish has a built in warming device to keep your nuts warm.

Decorated with rhinestones of course!
Isn't this just the wackiest thing?

If I'm paying for it I get to keep it right???? That way I can bring it with me on every subsequent flight. Who would pay $7 to "rent" a blanket and pillow?

For $7 I hope they'll be sterilizing them first. The thought of sharing the germ load on airline pillows and blankets just grosses me out. There is no way I'd wrap myself up in that thing and to pay for the privilege!

Riiight, but if you did have a hot nutter squirreled away you could bring it to the next DIS meet where we could warm all our stale airline nuts :rotfl:

This is by far the strangest *hijack* of any post on this board. How did we go from being nickeled and dimed to nut warmers.
You guys crack me up!!
