While I have drank around the world at Epcot during normal times, I have not done it during F&W. I am going this year during the festival with 2 friends who have never done it. Any suggestions?

start over in canada - so you get to France when you can still walk...
france has a wonderful drink - not just during f&w....

I would suggest water. . .lots and lots of water. . .lol.
Okay, I have never been during food and wine but will be there this year. . .so even though I won't be drinking around the world I will drink lots and lots of water. . .don't want a repeat of my May trip. . .lol

As a long time participant in "drinking around the world" I will tell you that you will have so many distractions (temptations) from the temporary booths that it is a tottaly different experience.
We always budget 3 nights for F&W. It takes that long to enjoy all of the offerings from the many many new coutries that are there only for this event. I am quite sure an attempt to consume an offering from all of the existing countries as well as the temporary countries in one evening would have a very negative outcome (as in we would be spreading your ashes at the next F&W festival)
Enjoy your trip (but try not to overdo it):thumbsup2

I agree...keep the water intake going.
Yeah definetly not a repeat of May...we started at the slushie stand across from France and never left there! :rotfl:

O no trust me we won't get stuck in one spot. My fear is that we might make it to too many spots. The last time I did this we were staying at BCVs, and we ended up having to take the boat home. This time we're staying at SSR, which means a decent length bus ride after we walk out through FW. I want to make it a memorable experience w/o getting dirty looks from parents, which we got last time, DURING OUR FIRST DRINK!

Get the smallest size sample possible. ( many offer 2 sizes. )
Try not to mix too much beer and wine. Stick with one.
Share portions with someone else in your party and you will both last longer.

I did the F&W last year and pretty much lushed my way around the WS, to be honest... My suggestion would be to drink water & remember to eat something small with each drink. All of the stands serve tapas style foods, why not taste something as well??
