Please do not move this...I'm not looking yet!!
I'm checking cruise point costs, etc. for our 2003 trip now that the charts are out. I could do 4 days at BWV and get a 3 day cruise for 2 adults and 2 kids, paying cash for my 3rd child--but would be one point short. Does anyone ever rent ONE point??? I can't believe this. I don't know why things aren't even numbers.

Could you just borrow one point from your next use year?

Because of a changed reservation once, I had 1 point in holding that was going to expire. Someone posted on the rent/trade board that they needed one point and I just gave them mine. Had to make a call to MS, but it went smoothly.

Maybe if you ask real nice?:D :D

While those that want to rent their points will not want to use up their ONE PER YEAR transfer option, I'm sure there's someone out there whose goal is to simply help you out and they would be very happy to tranfer one point to you. You could "rent" it or pay it back in a year or 2 since only current years points can be transferred.

These are all options I hadn't considered. If I use 1 of my 2004 VWL points I'll be one short for 2004, but it might be worth it to have a practically free trip in 2003.
I guess I have until August to figure this one out! Once I have an idea in my head though, I keep tossing it around.

Kacey!! We thank you so much for doing that!!! Yes, we were the ones who needed ONE point! Come to find out that Kacey goes to the church we go to and it became a "it's a small world" kind of incident!!

Btw, Kacey, saw that grandbaby of yours Sunday night at AWANA. Couldn't get too close as I was being battered by moon balls, but he looked just darling from where I was! :) Congrats!

I sent an EMail thanking ncligs, but I don't want to take them up on their wonderful offer until we're sure and can book.
Ohioans are the best, aren't they?
Back to my ceaseless adding of point choices....

BTW--if I bought more points I think DH would have a stroke.
