I need some help with prices... and other questions.

Ok so me and my husband are going to Disney from September 27- October 4th.

How much would the dining plan be for us? Is it 37.99 per person per night? If I am doing that right, it would come to 531.xx-ish. I read someone else that it was $741 per person.

We already have a LeCellier reservation, if we added the dining plan now, would it cover LeCellier even though we had the reservation and planned on paying cash?

Also we are arriving and checking in on Saturday, we would only be at Disney for dinner that night, would it cover the whole day, and could I use the extra credit some other time in the week?


We had already planned to eat at LeCellier, Sci-Fi, and Primetime Cafe, right there will run us around $200, so I feel like it may be worth it because that is almost half the cost of the dining plan. We are DVC members and are staying in a studio so we have a fridge and microwave so we were going to be able to do limited stuff in our room using a george foreman grill (we were told we could bring this) and we have intentions of coming back to the room for dinner, but we are thinking now, are we really going to want to walk back to the car, drive back to the resort and eat, then drive back to the parks. We feel like we would have been grabbing counter service a few times anyway.

If you purchase the dining plan, you will receive dining plan credits for each night you stay at your resort, not each day. If you are staying 8 nights you will receive 8 TS credits, 8 CS credits and 8 snack credits per person to use over the length of your reservation. There is no limit on how or when you use these credits, just that they will expire by midnight of your checkout day if they are not used by then.

If you are a DVC member and you are adding the plan to a DVC reservation, your cost is $37.99 per adult per night of your stay. You must call Member Services to add the dining plan to your reservation, and you will pay for it when you check in.

Any current dining reservations you have will not change, unless you booked CRT, which you would have paid for in full when you booked it, so you'd have to get a credit for that payment. You'd just tell the server when you arrive for the meal that you are paying with dining plan credits.

Dining Plan is $37.99 per adult per night of your stay. Credits expire at midnight on your check out day.

You will get 1TS, 1CS, 1Snack credit for each night of your stay for each person on the reservation. So your 7 night trip you'll get: 14TS, 14CS and 14 Snack credits to be used between the time you check in and 11:59pm on Oct 3rd.

Yes, the DP will cover your meal during that period, regardless of when you make the ADRs. Don't go back to the room just to eat. Get the plan if it fits the budget and enjoy.
