My thought is this...we will be arriving on Dec 5th staying at a deluxe (TBD) and then moving on the 6th to AKV, using the DDP. Most likely our family would have appetizers (as opposed to desserts) and a couple of alcoholic drinks. If I'm on the DDP, can I use the DDE card for the discount on the remainder of the bill? Our teenage boys will out eat us, making the DDP cheaper for us than the DDE alone.

So, the meal(s) on the 5th, along with the other add-ons, including a birthday cake, would be be used with the DDE. We are also planning a trip July '09, where I would do the same thing.

Thanks for your help!!!!

Yes, you can use your DDE for the appetizers as well as alcoholic drinks, as well as any extra TS meals you order to pay OOP

from what I understand (since we are thinking of doing this ourselves), this can be done. But they will put an 18% gratuity on the DDE portion, while the DDP portion will not already have the gratuity added in (making things a little complicated when it comes to paying the bill).
