I've seen some confusion on this board about whether the Mcd's still even exists in Epcot. Has anyone gone there recently? I didn't see McD's listed in the DDP plan but maybe things have changed.

We were just there in June and the McD's is still there. I used a CS there at least once or twice last October for my DD.

Thanks!!! I hope it still is a CS credit when we go this month! I plan on bagging the kids' stuff and getting CS for DH and me somewhere else. Now, I've got to figure out what's near there.

You know, I have been there 5 times, most recently in 2000, I had no idea there was even a McDonalds in Epcot. Where is it?

The McDonald's is just a little brown kiosk (not obviously a McDonald's) right near the pathway where Futureworld enters World Showcase, on the Canada side. I wasn't sure they have a full menu -- I thought it was just fries and chicken nuggets & drinks, but I'm not sure of that.

Yeah, it is fries and chx nuggets only for food. Of course they have drinks and McFlurries as well.

Well that would work for my kids as they are the only two things that they eat at McDonalds anyway, aside from the chocolate chip cookies and apple dippers. LOL .. Maybe this time I won't miss it. LOL

Not much actual CS NEAR there(its right on the edge of Canada). The closest would be Yorkshire Co. Fish Shop in the UK on the one side and the CS in Mexico on the other. If you're headed back into FW, then you could head over to The Land. Sunshine Seasons is a great CS with lots of choices.
Also...it is ONLY chicken nuggets and fries at that McD's. They also have drinks and McFlurries.

we've used a CS credit there many times. BTW, it's called the Refreshment Port.
You can get a 9 piece, large fry, a drink, and a McFlurry for 1 CS credit.
My kids will have this, while DH and I eat at Cantina de San Angel in Mexico (we'll carry the kids stuff over there to eat together).

Just to let you know, I spoke to Theresa at WDW Food & Beverage today and I mentioned McD's in Epcot. She is in charge of Epcot and told me that that McDonalds will be gone soon and it has a pan of nuts there anyway (we were discussing my son's nut allergy). She didn't say when it would be gone but you might want to have a backup just in case it is gone by the time you get there. My backup will be Liberty Inn. I'll be back on 8/21 so I'll let you know if it's still there.

Considering that McDonald's is leaving Disneyland Resort, this isn't surprising to me.
Nestle's leaving, too...

nuggets, fries drink and mcflurry. Now that is a good CS for me and the kids. To bad they are leaving. But I guess not being to advertise as MC D's is a problem. I had no idea that was there. thats a good lite lunch.

OT I know ... but does that mean they'll get better coffee than the yucky Nescafe? Perhaps a deal with Starbucks, please, please, please?

But what else around the park did Nestle have ? Snacks of some sort I suppose.
