ganurse-
i too am going on sat. can't wait- i too am a nurse. how weird is that? i hear the Atantis subamarine is awesome. a friend of mine and her family did that on a previous cruise they loved it! we are planning to do the 5 star adventure to Trunk Bay - hear it is absolutely gorgeous! this is one i am really psyched for. i booked early for our excursions so our tickets should already be in our stateroom- but each of the 2 you mentioned are both great ones!! Have a great time!!

I did this in cayman islands and it was excellent. A couple tips if you decide to do this (it doesn't differ from port to port, or so i have been told by others i shared this with). Be the last ones to load on to the little ferry that takes you out to the submarine. Last ones on will be the first ones that get to board the sub. You get the best seats behind the pilot with the big window in front. Also, you can book it through the cruise line - the price was the same regardless of booking it as a shore excursion or doing it on your own. This way you don't have to worry about how you are going to get there. Also, do not use your flash on your cameras when you are taking pictures. The pilot told us that. It is pricey, but i would say it is an awesome experience. Total time will be about an hour and a half, so you will have plenty of time to do other things while you are in port if you want to.

Just did the Atlantis on the 3/23 and it was great. You share a porthole with one other person. You see alot of coral and quite a few sharks-small ones.We also saw a barracuda and some yellowtail snapper. My kids loved it. It's a quick excursion- pricey but worth it. Go to a beach and skip the shopping. We went to Magen's Bay-very touristy!!!!!!Try Coki Beach or Sapphire Beach!!!
have fun!!!

the sub was 72 a piece for adults and around 36 for children. Hope this helps. Attached is a direct link to their website.

My guess is that for Cozumel, you wouldn't have to pay for a taxi to get to where they are located. For St. Thomas, you wouldn't have to pay for a ferry ride over to the site. It is quite a walk from where the ship will dock. The price of the ship excursion I believe is the same price if you tried to this yourself, but ship price would include the transportation.

We did Champagne Catamaran and LOVED it (with young kids). Great boat, crew, beach, etc. And, we liked that it was longer than most others. Only downside (didn't effect us), on the way to St. John, the ride was a little rough. Some people got sea sick (5 or 6 out of 30 or so). If thats an issue, think twice. Otherwise, I would highly recommend.
