Hope this is the right forum!:confused3
Can someone either give me the link or tell me ??
If you are a DVC member (or renting points to stay at DVC) comparing a DVC room to a regular WDW resort stay....
what addition costs are there? what I mean is..... I know that housekeeping will only come every 4 days, what if I wanted daily services? or every other day?
and is there an extra charge for any other services that normally are included in a resort stay?

Housekeeping is the only thing I can think of - I believe it's $25 for each additional day you want a full mousekeeping service.

You *should* get free Internet, even if you're renting points, definitely if you're a DVC member. There's also free valet parking for DVC members at the other DVC resorts. So those would be "less" expenses vs. extra.

That's about it, I think.

you would have to pay for daily housekeeping if you wanted it at a DVC. That's it as far as I know.

You do have to pay extra for daily housekeeping, but I think some of the DVC discounts/perks offset that negative. You get APs at a discount, free valet parking, discounts on certain services and restuarants, etc.

Nope. Renters have to pay for the internet. The free access is for members only. I don't know if they are enforcing that or not, but that was the way they wrote it up.

Do you just call when you want it?

You can add housekeeping/trash & towel on any days you want it. The great thing about DVC is that is all you pay for after you are a member (plus annual dues, of course). You get things free (internet, self service laundry, valet parking) that resort guests have to pay for.

I've seen at least a few renters say it was free. They don't have a way to distinguish whether you're renting points or actually a DVC member, it seems (or else they're just not doing it), so the Internet for renters has been free. Of course, that could change.

i've seen a few reports that showing your blue member card was required to get the free internet, and renters have had to pay for internet charges. i suspect that enforcement is just inconsistent...

We just stayed at the BCV in June on rented points and got the free internet.
