Just checked over at waltdisneyworld.com and the packages are on the site, but it looks like the dining plan plus (basic plan) doesn't come with the refillable mug, but the others do:confused3 still no appy or tip.

I can understand no appy or tip, but it doesn't make sense that the QS and deluxe both come with two snacks and the mug, and the regular doesn't...color me confused.:confused3

Did I read wrong, the the delux plan doesn't include an appetizer for adults but does for children. That doesn't make any sense.

Never mind, they must have fixed it, because at 7:30 this morning, I swear it didn't include the appetizer.

Hopefully they will add some resturants back too. There are a few that are missing on the 2009 that are on the 2008. No new ones though. I was looking forward to trying a few. For example of what's missing that I've noticed:

Wolfgang Puck (Cafe' and Express)
Yak and Yeti
Earl of Sandwich

:confused3

This occurs every year. The contracts for the non-Disney-owned restaurants to participate in the dining plan will not be finalized until closer to the end of the year. When that happens, most of these restaurants, if not all of them, will be returned to the list.

(The ones you list are not Disney-owned. Quite a few of the Epcot restaurants are also not Disney-owned and will not appear on the preliminary list. Each year that causes some confusion.)

The appy on the adult deluxe was missing this morning. Glad to hear it is back.

Does anyone know when you can book meals beyond January 25, 2009?

180 Days in advance from the first day of your stay. If you are staying onsite, you are then able to make the reservations for the first 10 days of your stay. If you are not staying onsite, then it's 180 days for ADRs.

Like I'm staying onsite April 27th- May 1st 09. My 180 day mark is Oct. 30th I believe so I can call on the 30th and make the reservations for my entire stay. If I wasn't staying I would have to call the 30th thru Oct. 3rd to make each day's ADRs. Make sense???

No, right now they are changing to a new reservation system or something, and the ADRs for after sometime in January (guessing it's the 25th, due to the other post), ADRs will be taken at 90 days out until the system is finished. I'm thinking the date they think it will be finished is sometime in October.

For August 28th to September 6th 2009. Spoke w/a CM about the "regular" dining plan, and he said that they have had tons of complaints about not having the mug and only one snack, and that he would not be suprised at all if one, or both were added to the regular plan, and soon.....could that be why the WDW site is down now? He also hinted strongly that the new QS plan would be offered as free dining in 2009, and that we would be able to get a free upgrade to the deluxe, or a credit equal to the amount of the QS plan on the regular. He was very friendly and helpful, and found a pin code for 40% off on the deluxes for us. DH and I are considering this, we are booked in ASMU Family suite right now.
