We are going too!!!

This is our first MNSSHP and we are so excited!

We think we will just wear a POTC shirt or something instead of a costume because we will be more comfortable.

We will be there on Halloween as well! My 2 1/2 year old ds REALLY wants to be WALL-E for Halloween so I am hoping I am able to find that costume for him! We were at MNSSHP 3 years ago but it was a few days before halloween. I was pg with ds at the time! We got tons of candy and had sooooo much fun!

I went to the Halloween event in California Adventure and I have to admit, it was pretty lame.

I'm going to do the disney College program in the Fall of 09 so hopefully i'll get to experience it all month long because i'll be working there! XD

Yippee, whole lotta DISer's gonna be there! My husband is going to be Jafar (probably, still not for sure), I'm going as "HulaWeen" (halloween hula girl-its light and cute :rotfl2: ) and DS 7 is going as Anakin Skywalker and DS10 is going as a Jedi knight. I also strongly suggest looking for costumes that are light and airy as it gets uncontrollably hot most nights.

We went our first year without figuring the heat, and OH BABY we paid the price. We were MISERABLE. Just fyi..I cannot WAIT!!!!!!!!:cool1:

For those that have been on Halloween night, what tips can you give those of us that have never been? I know that Halloween night is not like any other night because it is on the actual holiday so more people want to attend.

We'll be there too!! We go every halloween night! Yes it does sell out but it is very managable. You will get TONS of candy!!! See great characters! Just a few suggestions if you've never been before. The second parade is always much less crowded so if you have no time preference go to the later one. The little bags disney provides for trick or treating will get filled up fast they are very generous on halloween. You may want to bring another larger bag to dump your smaller bags into especially if you have little ones. I hope everyone has a fantastic time!!!! It will be my mom and I dressed up the same as we do every year. Two witches one with green hair and green striped hat and the other purple w/ purple stripes!!!

I just saw the preview of the pins that will be available for the MNSSHP. For those that have been on Halloween night, have you found that they run out of pins before Halloween? My worry is that since this will be the last night of the party that they will not have a good selection of pins.

Yeah, I'm curious about this too. Since they only sell the limited special edtion merchandise during the parties, I was wondering if they would run out by Halloween? (the night I am coming) :scared1:

Kinda got ticked last year, we wanted to buy the framed pin set and we're told on Halloween night that that item had been sold out for weeks! Tried to buy t shirts from the party and found the largest size was large. They wern't very large either for a pooh size person. So hopefully they'll have a better system set up this year for party merchendise.

I don't like the sound of this. I really want that pin :sad1: What other merchendise can you get at the parties? (only sold at the parties)

We are going for the MNSSHP this year as we probably wont get to come back at Halloween again so want to have some fun. Wife seemed taken aback when I asked what she was dressing up as. Not exactly sure what I will go as yet but I plan to be a bigger kid than my kids frankly ;)

Cannot wait to get to Disney!!!!!

:woohoo: I'll be there too:woohoo:

It's my first MNSSHP and I've heard Halloween is pretty crowded, so I'm hoping it's not a mistake to go there on the 31st. But we're traveling with kids, and they just didn't get how we could go to a Halloween party and not go on the actual holiday, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed the crowds aren't bad. Even if it is, I'll be so excited I probably won't even care.

can't wait to see you all there, dressed up of course:thumbsup2

Obviously this particular party will sell out (always has) and will be probably the busiest night of MNSSHP. Even so, I've heard from others that while more crowded, it is still much more manageable than a regular "park day" as there are a limited number of tickets.

I just cannot wait to be at the party on the actual night; I have a feeling the "magic" will be a little more exciting. And to see the headless horeseman ride on halloween...well...I'll say no more:cool1:

I just bought my tickets for Halloween night. This is our first MNSSHP, and I'm so excited! My SO isn't so sure about going in costume, but what's the point of going to a Halloween party if you're not in costume? The trick is going to be fining one that will be cool, comfortable, and one that I will be able to wear on the rides. I think I'd better start looking right away!

Do people wear costumes in the park all day on Halloween, or will most people only put costumes on for the party itself?

I bought our tickets very early though and now it looks like we may have 3!! extra tickets for that night  what didn't they understand about "non-refundable?" :rotfl:

well maybe if it's a sell out I can get rid of them closer to the date.

Yep and someday (since I will always be 29) she will be 8 years older than me!!:lmao:

WHO IS GETTING EXCITED??? I am on the edge of my freakin seat!

I called ME this morning to notify them my flight number had changed. I am so afraid they are going to lose my luggage (first time flyer).

Anywhoo, she says see you in a couple days. I was all teary eyed! It is finally here. A whole year of planning and waiting, finally here!
