View Full Version : $89.00 Rate a Moderate Resort in August
Mickey Bound in MN

I recevied an email from Disney online with a $89.00 a night rate for a moderate resort. I call an changed my reservation to get that rate. That's the same amount I was paying with the discount at the All Star. I choose the Carribean Beach Resort......hmmm where is that thread.
Is this a deal or should I can and change it back.
 :p

I have never gotten an e-mail from them. Is there a promotion code for the discount or is it only available to those they e-mail? Could someone forward a copy to me? I just booked AKL concierge for 365.00 8/9 & 10. I'm wondering if with the e-mail info I could beat this.
Thanks,
Alice

...could you pm me w/ a code? I booked CBR, too, but I'm paying $94 ($104 w/tax) per nite (double that because I need 2 rooms for my fam. of 5). Any savings could help.....:)

A couple of weeks after I booked DxL for $94/night, I got an e-mail code for $84 and took advantage of it!

How did you get that rate? Is it an AP or DC rate? Or just a promotional code? Thanks.

I got this email 2 days ago. There is no mention of a PIN on my email but there is a code which I don't think should be a big secret. Susan

Hi-
I don't have time today to send the code to everyone. I am running a school event. Can someone check with a moderator about whether I can post the code here? Thanks. Threeehearts

Hi,
I got an e-mail too but no code??? I called and CRO said it would be sent but 7 days later no code? HUH?
If anyone has the 84.00 code I would surely appreciate it. Even with the 104.00 a night deal it's almost 200.00 a night Canadian.
If you don't feel comfortable with sending me a p.m. that's okay, just thought Disney would have sent me the code by now.
I am a DisneyClub member already so that's not it. Oh, well hope someone can help.
Thanks Guys,
Ruth

Hi, I didn't notice the exact rates but, I noticed they are offering discounts on the Disney website. When you go to vacations, at some point a pop up menu comes up telling you about the discounted rate. www.disney.com

Like i said in my above post, I got an email with a code, but its not one of the general codes that are listed on Mousesavers. AND it has a personal PIN number attached to it. So to use the code, you must also have the PIN number, which is attached to my name and email. Because it has the PIN, it can only be used once, presumably by the person whom it was sent to. This is the same thing with postcard rates.
The email is for $84 at mods from 6/23-8/24. I can't use it (It's 3 weeks to early :( ) but I am not sure if I can share it because it has that pin.
I am a DC member, but I also registered at the Disney.com website. I get Disney insider newsletter by email once a month, but this is the first time I got a rate email. I resgistered a different email address for the DC than I did at disney.com, and this email came to the address I registered with at Disney.com
I would love it if a moderator or someone with more experience could clear up if sharing a code with PIN is ok. And even if it is, I could only share it with one person :(

You know what? Your post was actually quite helpful without the code as I realized that even though I was registered at Disney.com I hadn't asked to receive the newletter!
I also hadn't asked to recieve any updates. I just changed all that and we'll see how it goes.
If I get a code great and if not well that's great too - I'm still going to WDW!!!
I bet your pin is just that YOUR pin and you probably can't share that.
Thanks anyway for your helpful hints!
Ruth

Dallas Lady:
I read some where on here that sometimes if you get these discounts, you can get by with traveling outside the date specified. Just say that you can't use it within the correct dates. Anything is worth a try, huh? My code is a year too early. I don't think they'd go for that.

I also received an e-mail from WDW. It said, "You've received this message because you provided your e-mail address and wanted to hear more about upcoming Disney events, future vacations and offers via e-mail." I did sign up on the Disney site. The e-mail was for dicounted moderate rooms for $84.00 a night between 4/21/02-6/22-02. There wasn't a booking date on it. It did have a pin number. I called CRO to modify my reservations( I agree any little bit helps) and she did ask for that pin number and suggested I bring a copy of the e-mail with me. 37 days to go.
