I'm going in December and am thinking about preordering the CD or joining in one of the Photopass Shares on these boards. It's going to be my boyfriend and I and then another couple. My bf isn't sure if we should pay the extra money to have it (or if we'd even like the photos), so I'd really love to have examples to show him. Thanks!

We had a big group so it was really convenient to use photopass so everyone could be in the photos and we didn't have to find someone to take a picture for us. I made sure we stopped at every photographer to get a variety of pictures and I think it's definitely worth the money if you take tons of pics!

I wouldnt go without getting it. I had over 500 pics after editing on my last 2 trips. The most recent trip was only 2 days. If you get in a share it will be under $20

I hosted both of the shares I did. It was easy. What I did with my groups was made each person a CD of only their pics and mailed them out.

We also had a large group (16 of us) so it was nice to be able to get group shots with EVERYONE in them. HOWEVER, with 16 people it was impossible to get a nice picture with EVERYONE actually LOOKING at the camera! We had over 350 pictures, and not one picture with the whole group looking and smiling!! Thats a tough job, since we had 7 young children too. Oh well, the pictures give us plenty of memories! Here are some of my favorites to help convince you:

I am so glad we pre purchased the PP CD. My husband hates to have his picture made and sucks even more at taking them so...It was so nice to have pictures with my boys...They really do have a mom...:rotfl2:

I also LOVED how they had PP Photographers all over the waterparks. I had a water proof camera but the pictures came out cruddy compared to the PP.
Also you can't beat the night shots.

I had over 250 pictures. I probably would of had more if I had a husband who liked to wait in line for pictures better...LOL

You can order a PhotoPass CD which contains copies of ALL of your photos taken during your vacation by the PhotoPass cast members. The nice thing is that you can also add borders, signatures, etc. online after your trip, and those photos will be included on the CD also. Basically, all your photos in your PhotoPass account will be included on the CD. We had over 300 from our December trip, including the ones I added borders to.

Once you get your CD, you can use the pictures however you like. Included with the cost of the CD is a license granting you the rights to make copies of the photos yourself or at any photo lab.

The CD is normally $129.95(I think), but if you prepay for it before your trip, you can get it for $99.95. If you prepay for it, they give you a code, and once you get back from your trip, looked at your photos/added borders/etc, you order the CD using the code.

I have done Photopass several times and love my pics.

I was wondering, however, how does the photographer plan out the pose, like the ones with the little girls holding simba. They must pose like that and later when you go to edit and buy your pics on the site, you add the character in?

I have added little character icons on the sides, but how do you get a pose to hold Tikerbell in your hand? I have never seen those things before and I guess the photopass photographer must know what character icons are available at any given time on the site. I would love to do some of those poses with Stitch and Tinkerbell. Do you just ask the photopass photgrapher to pose you to add the characters later?

I love all the pics and love Photopass too. They now are doing a thing at some of the resorts where you can get a photopass photographer to take a bunch of pictures of you and your family all over the resort and it costs a certain amount. But we saw several families all over the Polynesian with their photographers and next trip we will do it. I know the Poly does it and I think the Yacht, but I am not sure of others. I would bet all the deluxe resorts have the option to hire a photographer for some pictures like this. It is a great idea so the whole family can be in the pics together with no one missing.

When we were in Animal Kingdom the photographer had my nieces "pretend they were holding a babydoll". Afterwards, when i came home and uploaded my pics, the baby simba was already in their hands. I didn't have to add it in or anything. Same thing goes for holding Tinkerbell, she was already in the picture.

All of the other borders and pictures and stuff you can add them in, but for those types of the shots I guess the photographer does it.

It was so nice having people there to take your picture, instead of asking another family and then making sure it came out okay, etc. Also, I don't really like giving my camera to strangers, I just really worry!

OK, I'm sold. The next time I head to Disney, I will buy the photopass. I HATE taking pictures. I'm so bad at it. I get frustrated because the girls won't cooperate and I'm not quick enough for good action shots. I don't really want to lug a camera around either.

When will all the rides have the ability to scan your photopass card to them? Last time I was there only Test Track had it. If all the rides had that feature, photopass will be a no brainer! Again, I have no patience for the counter. We all want to move on at that point. Just the thought of being able to come home and see all the photos and then decide is just perfect for me!

I saw on the wedding board that for an extra $35, you can have some time with a professional photographer for some portrait shots on your cd. Sorry I don't have much more details. But a girl had some pictures of her and her fiance (I think) at the Grand Floridian. They were really, REALLY nice portrait quality shots. I thought that it would be neat to have some done for me and my girls. I will definitely look more into that when we go back.

We didn't get the CD--with all that was going on with my dad prior to our trip, I forgot to preorder it and I didn't order the CD with my order--a little too pricey for only 70 pictures. I copied this on my scanner--one of my favorite pictures from our trip:

I LOVED the photopass pics! It is a great way to have some super family photos! I did a photopass share and it was LOVELY!
