I'm in, although honestly I don't know how many I will get done. August has become just as busy as June and July were even though it was supposed to be slower! :headache: Problem is, the busier I am, the more pages I have to scrap, as 99% of what has been occupying me this summer has been fun busy and requires pages! I still have not finished memorial weekend and I have pages from every single weekend since then! I am probably 100 pages behind, let alone last year that I still haven't finished! :scared:

I have a new work schedule and my goal is simple to start, just one page a day to get back into the habit of scrapping. But I'm already 4 days behind but I look at it as a challenge.

the rules are pretty much to complete the page w/ journalling if you would like... but just to get your pages done!!!! :)

I think it can go either way on the completed pages - obviously the majority of the effort went into the creating end so you could argue either way.

I personally am waiting to count my ABC pages until I actually sit down and put them together, so I'm looking forward to a big page boost whatever month that ends up being!

I think it was the opposite of what you said, AWM. I know believen counted them at this end because the bulk of the work was done in the design and creation.

I seem to remember the conversation being that you could count them for your page total but they would not be eligible for the scrapping with swapped items count. If you don't count them for the page total, they are eligible for the challenge. Either way, we agreed that they should be shown on the challenge thread so people can see their work used.

I decided just to add them to my completed page total for the year since I will most likely not use all of them. I really have no use for the Princess pages and I'm not sure I'll ever use the Good vs. Evil pages either.

As far as how to count the completed page swap I appreciate being defered to, but I really think that is something for the swappers to decide amoung themselves. I know I was not counting the pages on put photos on for the baby album you all so graciously made, but when I made baby album pages from someone else I was counting them. I know that point of this challenge is to get your pages done, but we all county gifts etc etc so maybe further clarification is needed?? What does everyone think?

No I did not go to the stadium because my parents have season tickets and I'll be going to some games! It turns out that when the Colts came to Indy there were a few lotteries and my parents won 10 second row 30yd line bench side season tickets... they've had them ever since. The sell 6 of them to family friends, but they keep 4. They always go but sometimes I go with my brother and if SO is lucky, my brother can't go and he comes along! Lucas gave them the same seats only it'll be on the 15yd line just to the left of club seats. Can't beat that though in the new stadium!

I just got a note home from school the traveling memoriablia for the Colts will be here in a week or two before one of our home games @ the high school... Should make for an interesting night in town!! We might just have to walk to the game instead of driving! (good thing we are only about 3 blocks from the HS)

Well, I did 122 of them at SDV although I find I get tons done because of my swaps. Like I said before more than half of my pages had swap items on them, it was probabbly 90% of them with swap items. I have only had to write 1 chapter and the table of contents for a third grade math book. Since I taught 3rd grade writing the teaching section of the chapter on multiplication and 8 student pages with problems isn't hard. I spent about 4-5 hours this week on it. Also I learned time management for things like this from the best- I have a link in the living room to a Utube video on my mom's book about time management.

The best way to get lots of pages done is to kit them- whether you are doing them at home of not if everything is choosen out and all you need to do is mat photos and glue pieces down it doesn't take too long.

I completed another 6 today for a total of 157 for the month now.

I would have kept going, but I need to figure out what happened to the photos that came in between March WDW and July DL...I thought I finally had everything in the same place, but I'm missing these somewhere, and I know they exist because everyone in the family has their birthday in between these two. Today I spent most of the day in my scrap room cleaning and organizing and am ready for Sept! I even have a couple of pages bagged and ready to be scrapped!
If I start tomorrow for September is that cheating, even if I know I will not be scrapping the weekend of the 19-21st because of Girl Scout Encampment (190 people!=0!)?

No problem- I knew you had a lot going on. I don't have a return to school but I hope yours is going well. I am enjoying my new work for now- being a pastor's wife.
