I cancelled our reservations for this Friday, April 19th yesterday, Monday, April 15th. CRO indicated that there would be no penalty but could not confirm it. Anyone out there with a similar experience? How was it handled?

You will receive your refund check in the mail in a couple of weeks. If you charged you room, they will credit back to your card in a couple of weeks. We never had a problem.

Thanks eeyore. I was just concerned over the 5 day refund policy, and wasn't sure how they calculated the five days(if it includes the day you cancel as well as your day of arrival).

If you canceled on the 15th for a reservation beginning the 19th, then you canceled less than 5 days in advance. You should be charged one night's room rate. That isn't to say you will be, but you canceled inside the 5 days prior to your arrival.

I cancelled a reservation back in February that was to begin on a Friday, they told be the last day I would be able to cancel without penalty would be the previous Sunday.

Thanks everyone. A cm relative of mine made the reservation, and I had to call CRO to secure with a credit card. The CM at CRO never said anything about cancelling 5 days in advance. I suppose this could be an out for me. Guess I will just have to see.
