Please clarify this program for me. Are these boards going to start costing $70 per year to use after May 10th?

Pam--There is going to be NO charge for these boards. This is a separate program that will let you receive a rebate on vacations (Disney and others) on top of any other discount.

Being this a board where members look to save money spending as little as possible, I am not too sure this will take off. Will members be restricted from sharing tips unless they pay that fee?

You're not paying for budget tips. You're paying to become a member of this program, which entitles you to receive a rebate on the vacations you book through it (can be booked with discounts).

Well, you'd think I can ask here, since the thread was started here, or just invite another moderator to provide the answers that I am sure many of us are curious about.

Will the members still be allowed to post saving tips and codes once this is emplaced? Will there be restrictions on the use of the public boards as a means to aquire discounts?

But, I'd be surprised to see numerous members joining, paying yet more money for discounts!I mean, There's those who pay $80 to save with Connections, ~$60 to save with AAA, $30 - $40 to save with DC, $30 - $80 to save with AMEX, $20 - $40 to save with Entertainment book, APs to save here and there...

Let me try and explain, You do not have to join this program if you do not want to -

If you join you save on all vacations booked through the program.

This has nothing to do with the use of these board - you can use them just as you do today.

This program will be good for some and not for others. Go to the DISavers board (http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=67) ask your questions, get your answers and make your decisions, just like I will make my own decision....
