We just got to our room at the Contemporary (jaw dropped... nicest hotel I've ever stayed in!) and we're in the garden wing with a water view on the first floor. It took forever to walk here (especially with a broken foot) but it's worth it. I'll post pics of our room as soon as I get home. I'm on the room computer now and it let me upload photos to send pics to our moms but the files are huge and I can't re-size them on here.

We did Downtown Disney today! It was wonderful and the crowds weren't as bad as I had expected.... anywhere we've been so far. We accidentally went to the MK parking lot at 11am and it was nowhere near even 1/8th of the way full I bet. The TTC wasn't even that busy at noon. We ate at the Rainforest Cafe for lunch and sat next to the animatronic (sp?) elephant in the Gorilla room. It was definitely an interesting experience. I recommend the Gorillaritas (curevo gold tequila and orange sherbet).

The weather is so so. Sometimes it's gloomy but other times it's quite pleasant, with a nice strong breeze. I thought that it was going to storm there for awhile but it didn't.

Tonight we head to the California Grill for a 9:30 reservation and we'll see Wishes over the Magic Kingdom at 10pm. Now it's time for me to go nap!

We'll be there tomorrow night!! I can't believe that the trip is finally here! I have been waiting so long. Just the 2 of us for 8 whole days! We love the CR too, but we will be at the BWV this time. We want to spend a lot of time at EPCOT.

Its a Panasonic Lumix TZ5.... SO worth the money! I work at a camera store and I bought this one off amazon.com because I couldn't wait for it to get to my store before my trip (I went to the American Idols concert and wanted it). Speaking of my awesome camera... I just walked back from Wishes and I'm so excited about my pictures. http://bridgettebuntin.typepad.com/photos/disney_world/index.html I want to do a little photoshopping, but not a whole lot since the camera has a wide angle leica lens. Good times!

They really have computers?All the rooms in the Tower and South Garden Wing have a computer with this Online Concierge program where you can request things from Houskeeping, bell services and etc. It also includes 100% free internet access.

We went to Animal Kingdom yesterday around 3pm and good Lord it was hot! We saw some of the trails but then got out of there, as our clothes looked like we had jumped in a pool! We got some room service and headed back to Magic Kingdom and say Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion again and then for the BIGGIE we rode Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the dark and we left the station just as the Wishes finale began! It was one of the best moments of my life... I got a little choked up! We're off to EPCOT today so I'll be back with tons of photos to add to my album (http://bridgettebuntin.typepad.com/photos/disney_world/)! Ciao

I do have a fireworks setting but I actually found that I got the best results from the landscape setting with no flash.
