i broke down and ordered them

so i have been drooling over the new cricut carts. and since michaels is having a sale on them this week - but they NEVER have any of the brand new ones right away -
i went ahead and placed an order with creative express - they price match if you ask them and i ordered BOTH Storybook and Graphically speaking. for about $80.00 :woohoo:
now to beat my husband home every day next week to make sure he doesnt see BOTH carts.

I buy a lot of my carts on Ebay. But I did see Michael's sale, but I'm trying to stay away (its been very tough). I loaded up a few weeks ago when AC Moore was having their 50% off Cricut sale. Its so addictive, I can't seem to help myself. I don't have the Storybook cart yet, but its on my list. ;)

I do the package intercept with DH too. What he doesn't know won't hurt him! LOL!

I got the two Pooh cartridges and Cuttin' Up (they didn't have Joys of the Season, but I got a raincheck) this week at Mike's. $40 is a great deal, and I knew I was going to buy three at some point anyway, so now I'll get the Design Studio free!

Ok. So I just ordered Storybook (along with 120.00 worth of cuttlebug goodies. Had to order the new holiday folders since I heard they were limited addition and there would be only one shipment) Yikes!!!! Gonna have to do the DH intercept with that one.

Can't wait until it all gets here. YEAH!!!!

Storybook was delivered today. I ordered from Creative Express on Tues. It took many calls to get through and when someone finally answered, she told me that there were over 400 messages on the voice mail which they wouldn't be able to get to. I just got lucky.

My mil was coming to dinner tonight, about an hour after Storybook was delivered. I still ran to my scrap room and tried a few things. Love this cart! I made a really neat swirly border and tried out some corners and letters. It's a great cart!

Creative Express is an online scrapbook shop. When places like Michaels or A C Moore have cricute cartridges on sale they will price match the sale. The sale price has to be a dollar amount (like the $40.00 sale Micheals just had ... not a percentage off). Also, you have to call them to get the deal ... you can not order online and get the price. The site is www.creativexpress.com. The nice thing is that they usually have the carts that just came out (unlike M's and AC Moore who in my area have just gotten the Solutions, Pooh carts, Locker Talk and Stretch Your Imagination).

You do have to pay the shipping and handling if you get them through Creative Express so it ends up being a little bit more. I'm not sure what the shipping was on mine as I bought several other things when I ordered the cart.
