Early in March

My husband and I are going to be in Disney in the beginning of March. Does anyone know how busy it is going to be? Is this a good time or should we rethink it?

I know WDW just added a new 1/2 Princess Marathon that weekend - I don't know how busy it will be with that going on......it's the weekend of the 8th.

My last two WDW visits have been during the first week in March (2006, 2008). The parks did not seem too tremendously crowded, and the weather was ideal. We stayed off property as far as lodging, and found that the rates were much cheaper the first two weeks in March, and increased around the 3rd week when Spring Break hit.

As long as you visit during the first two weeks of the month, you should be fine. Most schools and colleges begin Spring Break around mid-month.
