Transportation to the other parks from AKL

I have seen several posts about busing from the AKL. I am concerened, should I be. Can I walk to the AK park? How long is the wait for a bus. Please go into detail.

We stayed at the AKL right after it opened and had no problems with the busses. I don't think you need to worry. :)

I've stayed at AKL twice, and the bus service was excellent both times. No more than a 5-10 minute wait ever. And unlike other deluxe resorts, you don't share a bus with other resorts; which saves a lot of time. I've stayed at both the YC and BC, and these resorts share a bus with the Swan, Dolphin, and Boardwalk. There was never a place to sit and it took FOREVER. Don't worry about AKL transportation - it's the best!

You cannot walk from AKL to AK - there are no sidewalks. In December there was a sign that stated that the bus from AKL to AK came on the hour and half-hour. I liked that because it was so easy to plan for. The other buses should run the usual 15-20 minutes. I've actually seen quite a few posts where transportation was not a problem at all at AKL. Of course, mornings are busy at any resort and evenings are incredible after Fantasmic and Illuminations let out, regardless of the resort. Don't worry! :)

During our February trip, the trasnportation was great. We only waited more than ten minutes one time and that was leaving the Magic Kingdom. You don't have anything to worry about.
