Shipboard Gift Credits

If family and friends send the gift of a shipboard credit to your cabin, and you do not spend all the money, what do they do with the remaining?

Not that I cannot spend money, but just in case. :D

shipboard credits from friends/family are refundable - see Guest Services

Usually the shipboard credits in promotions such as Castaway Club, etc. are non-refundable
