I'm glad someone asked, because everyone at school goes to me for advise... Let's see
If you haven't read Harry Potter that's a must. Then I think...
Catcher In The Rye
Farenheit 451
Martian Cronicles um...
O yeah Bud not Buddy and Holes are also very good and I reccomend Exodus but it's really long.
Any classic books are good and most aren't really that hard. If you need any more book advise I'm probably the one to ask so feel free to.

The Catcher In The Rye
To Kill A Mockingbird
Gravity by Tess Gerritsen (sp?)..it's a medical mystery
The Secret Garden
A Little Princess
Night
A Red Sky At Morning
Valley of the Dolls

I've been thinking about this some more, and I've come up with yet more books.

1984 by George Orwell
Behind the Scenes at the Museum by Kate Atkinson
Human Croquet by Kate Atkinson
The Four Just Men by Edgar Wallace
Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourt
Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte (Or was that Emily? )

And I'll just emphasise again that Catch 22 is soooo incredibly brilliant :)

I love the Left Behind series too. They're really long (like 1000 pages) but you get so involved you don't notice.

To Kill A Mockingbird is really good. I'm reading it now for English class. It makes a lot of good points and makes you think a little. Some of the book/charaters I can relate to.

Harry Potter books are good. I can identify with him too! I know what it feels like to be the freak misfit is like!!!!

Well it seems that i have a different taste in books than everyone else since for one i dont like the harry potter books  i know i know im sorry!

My all time favorite book is War of the Rats- Its about the battle of Stalingrad in WWII and was also made into the movie Enemy at the Gate, but read the book because the movie sucks compared to it.

I also liked The Things They Carried- Its another war book about one soldiers experiences during the Vietnam War.

All The King's Men by Robert Penn Warren- I thought this book was pretty good although it was extremely long and confusing at times but once you get into it its good.

OF Mice and Men

The Chosen by Chiam Potok is also a really good book

i know there are more but thats all i can think of for now..... :bounce:
