We are, I mean, WERE going to eat at Portobello Yacht Club in December because of the wonderful review that Kevin gave it. He has raved about it. Now it is going to change. :( Fultons was the other place we were going to try, but I've heard that it isn't too good.

We have, errr.. HAD an ADR in December for PYC for the same reason. Hope it still is reserved for whatever PYC becomes... or DO I?!?

There are many differing views on Fulton's...just as there is for every Disney restaurant. A lot of people love Hollywood & Vine and you couldn't pay us to ever step foot in there again. We've always enjoyed Fulton's. It is very expensive when paying out of pocket (which one must do since it is not on the dining plan), but we have always had good food and good service. We are going back this year for the first time in four years as it is the first Disney restaurant my DH ever took me to so we are having our special 25th anniversary dinner there in September.

When were you going? We were going to go on the 6th before or after we see Cirque. I am trying to decide if I want to GO to the new restaurant.

Our ADR is (was?) for Dec 11th @6:25 (Disney says 6:25 is the new 6:30). We'll probably keep it unless the PYC ADRs are not honored by the re-imagined version. We're doing Jiko on the 6th for the first time. Kevin seems to like Jiko, so I'm looking forward to it.

We have always loved PYC and I am sad to see it change. I hope that they will keep a few of the menu items that I love.

We love Fultons...it's where we went on our honeymoon dinner back in 2001. We plan on going there after Cirque to hit the oyster bar (unless that's changed, too!)

It is simply undergoing an "interior modernization".

This is great news, as we think PYC is among the best.

Ok...I mentioned this during the podcast recording, so I am sort of spilling a few beans here but......

I now understand that PYC is not changing it's menu or it's Chef / cooking staff.

It is simply undergoing an "interior modernization".

This is great news, as we think PYC is among the best.
