When a sponsor form is not returned?
Hi, I sent a sponsor form to someone from this forum back in April for use in June; I have sent a few emails to ask if the form was used, and if it could be returned. I have not had a reply :worried: . What will happen now? Can I the passport office tell me if the form was used, if it hasn’t I should be free to reuse it. If it has been used but not returned will I lose my chance to gain the free months? The person was going to use two places leaving me with one to find which I have, so I am waiting to resend the form.
I would be grateful for any information and the email address of the passport office if anyone has it.
Thanks
Shellyd

Oh Shelly that's a shame, It's not nice when you were doing someone a favour, I take it they aren't a regular poster.
Hope you are able to sort something and won't lose out yourself from this.

This is one of the areas where you have to deal with the person direct or write it off. It is one of the health warnings posted in the sponsor thread.
You will still be able to get another form and get it completed with new sponsors if you have time.
Note to make sure this is on 1 form only.
I had 2 separate sponsor forms with more than enough sponsors. The AP bureau would not accept this is all 3 sponsors were not on 1 form.
I went as far as getting the duty manager who also confirmed that the sponsors all needed to be on the same form.

While this is good advice, I'm pleased to say that my experience was not so, I had two sponsors on one form and one on another, and didn't have a problem. Actually, I had a 4th person on another form that had a different expiry date on it, I think they rejected that one in favour of the one with the same date (if that makes sense?), so that's the important bit.
As with everything else, it probably depends which CM you get on the day :rolleyes1

Hi, Thanks for all the advice. Glad to know that I can start a new form, I done very well with all the sponsors I have made, This is the first time I have had a problem so can't complain.
Thanks again
Shelly

I know. That was why I initially stood my ground and after speaking to a few CM's asked to speak to the manager.
I was told that they would accept either form as long as I got new sponsors on them
