How long to Close?

I know someone can probably just answer this real quick, so I figured I'd ask -

DVC received our signed and notarized paperwork on April 11. How long till we close? How will we find out? Do we get a phone call saying, "hooray! You closed" or we just get mail with our member card, etc.... ? Just curious!

Our purchase closed about 2-2 1/2 weeks after we sent back the paperwork. And our guide called us to tell us when it happened (so nice, as it was Valentine's Day). However, we haven't yet gotten our permanent cards or "Welcome packet" in the mail, and when I called him today (to add on-already!), he said we should have already received it. But I'm not sure if it's standard to get a call at closing.

We just recently did an add-on at HH. With all the sales of BCV our guide told us it was taking a little longer for the paperwork to get sent out. it took almost 3 weeks before we got it! DVC received our paperwork on March 25. We were notified by mail today that we closed on April 11. It stated that it could take 90 days for us to get our deed.
Our original purchase was a resale and it took 5 months to get our permanent membership cards. Our temporary cards arrived with our guide book approximately 10 days after closing.

Katerbell- if this is a BCV purchase, you won't close until June 1 (or 2 or so).
