Best AKL savannah view room numbers?

Sorry, I'm sure that this has been asked a million times. I have the resort map and have read the FAQ, but I'm still looking for some personal experiences from people (with room numbers).

Plus, any other helpful AKL tips would be great (we have stayed there before -- for 1 night back when it opened).

I personally think that the lower floors (2nd and 3rd) yield better views. We were on the 4th floor on our last trip (4515) facing Arusha Savannah. Our view was just fine, but you are so much closer to the animals on the lower floors.

As far as other tips go....Eat at Boma! It was abosolutely wonderful for both breakfast and dinner. Also, go to the gift shop in the evening and talk to their artist Bushman #1. He is super friendly and extremely talented.

Other than that, just enjoy being at the AKL. It is definately a great resort.

We stayed in 4513 in November. I agree with Darth. It is a great view, but a lower floor would have been better. There is that one tree that seems to be in the way at the giraffe feeder.

thanks for the info, folks. We have tried Boma for breakfast and Jiko for dinner. They are both great! We plan on doing Boma again.

We had room 2521, ours had bunk beds though you may not need them. We requested a room on the zebra trail (w/bunkbeds) and this room had the best view of the savannah!!! I would assume that any of the odd # rooms on this floor would have about the same view.
