Possible DIS scrapbook retreat?--PA

I just opened a scrapbook retreat house in Berks County, PA near Hamburg, and thought it would be fun to get some DISers together for a weekend!

I know some of you are going somewhere in August, so I thought maybe something in the fall or winter would be good.

Right now I have a few open weekends in December.

Let me know your thoughts and if you might be interested!

Sounds fun. I've never been on a scrapping retreat. I'm on the Montco/Chesco line not far from King of Prussia.

Hmmm...I'm going to a scrapping retreat in September, but I'd be open for one in the winter!! Hamburg is just a hop, skip, and a jump away for me!

I would love to do one that any DISers would come to. Do you mean January when you say in another month?
If so, maybe we just move it to that month?

Yes! Cabela's is about 5 minutes away.

I'd be interested. December is always just way to crazy. January is always a slow month for us. What part of Pa is Hamburg in? I'm in NJ on the shore. But I don't mind driving too far.

I'd be interested. I'd be coming from the Jersey Shore area also...about a 2 1/2-3 hour drive so that's not too bad. I've never done a scrapping retreat, so how does that work?

Ooohh!! I just looked Hamburg up on Mapquest and it says it's only about 2.5 hours from where I am. I can easily do that for a long weekend of scrapping!! I thought it was much further west. Let me know if you decide on a date. January would definately be better than December for me.

:( I'm on the west coast so can't join in (not without spending a month's salary on airfare). I'm sure you all will have fun though. The crop area looks huge!

So far any weekend is good for me. I would just need about 6 weeks advance notice so DH can plan ahead to be off that weekend to stay home with the kiddos.

Yes! I have to check my calendar for January. I know my dh goes to CHA but I have a feeling that is during the week. I just have to make sure he is around for my kids. Look for something posted this week!
