Please help. I'm going crazy trying to find this picture I saw of someone's shirt with a Mickey Head with a tiara and glued on crystals. I love the design and have it but am having trouble with the transfer so it would really help if I saw the pic again. Hope I find it again. Thanks!!

Sorry just noticed this thread.
The mouse ears with the tiara (all in jewels) was for my neice. My sister (txmommy34) and I made it, and she posted pictures of it in her thread
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1883189. Is that the one you're looking for?
What do you need help with? If I can't answer it, I can get her to. :goodvibes

Still loving this shirt!!! I totally want to make one for my princess: princess: (well, 2 :rotfl: )
To the PP, the only part I think I can manage is the crown. From what I understand it is one piece that irons on, like a patch but it is the crystals. I LOVE this!!! TOO CUTE!!! I still don't understand how she put the mickey head on though :lmao:

I'm glad you like the shirt. Lisabell is right, the crown is from Hobby Lobby (I think) and comes on rhinestone iron-on transfer paper. It's a clear film that has a sticky side and a smooth side. The jewels are attached shiny side down to the sticky side. You flip it over on your shirt and iron on the smooth side until they are stuck and you can pull the paper off. I ordered another piece of this paper from here (http://www.rhinestoneshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=30&products_id=1390) and cut and taped pieces around the edge of the crown to add the mickey head. I had a picture of a mickey head that I put under the paper and used as my pattern. The rhinestoneshop website I linked to has better instructions on it, too.
Is that clear as mud? I wish I had taken pictures as I did it. If I make a similar one, I'll be sure to take pictures of each step. Good luck!

Actually, no that wasn't the one I was looking for - it's BETTER! but actually looks harder to do and I'm running out of time so I'm not sure I'll get to it this trip. I love the jewels and that is just going to sparkle in the Florida sun!!! I'm so jealous!!!!!!!!!:rolleyes1

Okay, I found it. It was Everydaymathchick's tiara shirt. Here is a pic from her photobucket. I guess she cut around the head and even around the intricate tiara which I didn't and ruined the shirt. Now, I know better. Love this shirt!!!!! Thanks to everyone who responded.:grouphug:

Go figure -- here I am giving credit to my sister, and you actually were looking at a shirt I made. lol. :lmao:

Yes, I did cut very carefully around it, and I used an exacto knife for parts in the center of the crown. I only did about 3 jewels on it in the starbursts, so it was quick and easy. This is actually the one I messed up on. I did it on dark transfer paper, and the first time I ironed without peeling -- wow that messes your shirt up fast! :rolleyes1
Glad you liked it. :cutie:
