I know that some of the hotels offer air miles when you stay with them..but does anyone know if the reverse can be done?
I have some United Miles and don't plan on flying with them again anytime soon, so I was wondering if it could be converted into a hotel stay?

It looks like you are in luck!
Then again, maybe not.....

Thanks Lindy-
I looked into this and it doesn't make economic sense. Even if a room cost $200 a night, using 45,000 air miles (almost 2 free plane tickets) is foolish

Not for me. I fly free already, but get alot of miles at work. So, I will be using miles again for my WDW stay before my December cruise. If you are definately not going to be using the Mileage Plus miles for air travel, don't let the 18 month expiration catch up with you. Better to use them for a free night is better than just losing them...guess it just depends on the specific circumstances!
