It is the backdrop set up for the character meet-n-greet over in Furture World, near the Fountain View Cafe'. There were no characters around at the time so I just snapped the "postcard" shot.

Being able to get into MK before opening was the biggest selling point for me! A little tip for you - an all you can eat breakfast buffet is NOT a challenge...especially if Space Mountain is your first ride.

Illuminations is my absolute favorite nighttime show at WDW and I just decided that I was going to enjoy the show and not try to tape it, as I had on every other previous occasion.

Ugh dont worry space mountain is not our 1st ride :sick: I think we're hitting fantasyland first doing a couple there then head on over to tomorrowland. We're following TGM best times to visit to minimize lines. I always have to wait at least 30 mins to ride any coasters or anything that spins really fast after eating. So doing like dumbo and winnie the pooh, stuff like that I can handle after eating.

Please Please reconsider.
Reason 1: You will see many wonderful scenes and events and you'll wish you had a camera! The Detail!
Reason 2: If your like me and many others, you'll forget most of those scenes and events without a photograph to remind you of it all. Photo's of Family members with Characters are often unique experiances.
Reason 3: Please take me along with you by taking a photo, I feel like I'm at the Park again looking at your Photo's.
Reason 4: it only takes a few seconds to press the button and you'll have a memory forever.

It was part of a series of light images that were being projected onto the ground out of the Hat at DHS after F! The kids were dancing and playing in the images and this one was the coolest. Not sure I recall what the other images were. ..but it was a fun ending to a great day!

Well, no, not technically. I converted to B&W, then duplicated the layer and did the infrared filter effect in PSPPX2, and then set the oppacity way down so the infrared effects weren't real strong. Glad you liked it!

Illuminations is my absolute favorite nighttime show at WDW and I just decided that I was going to enjoy the show and not try to tape it, as I had on every other previous occasion.

No regrets, either.
I can understand that. I also love Illuminations, only had a chance to see it once, and honestly didn't enjoy it as much as I would have liked since I was busy fiddling with the camera, switching lenses, etc during it.

Hopefully we'll have another trip coming up early next year, I hope to have at least a couple Illuminations viewing in it.

Tech we will be there in 2 days as well. We fly in on the 4th but dont get to AKL until the 5th, and then we get to our 1st day at the parks which is MK on the 6th.

And yes, I do plan on bringing back LOTS of pics! 12 days in Disney, 2GB memory card that can hold 884 pics, and I plan on empty my memory card every night onto the external harddrive and DH laptop, yeah expect A LOT of pics. I expect to have so many pics, I will be posting pics everyday from now until we go back to Disney again in Dec 2010!:rotfl: And thats not including photopass!

What were your settings and what did you shoot with? I tried to pull up the EXIF data, but it wouldn't let me.

Settings was Shutter Speed and i used my tripod! my dad said that was the best to shoot with but he set it for me
i used a Cannon D40 for my Camera!
