ap question...

we are dvc owners yeah!! but our vacation in 3 1/2 weeks will be with the free dining promotion(booked this well before the dvc was even thought of).

we are thinking about purchasing ap cards since next year we will be taking another week long trip before the ap card would expire.

to get free dining i need to purchase at least a one day base ticket. Can i take the one day base ticket and apply it to my ap card?? and if so, how much money would come off of the price of the ap??

I believe you can. I was told that you can upgrade any unused ticket.

However, I don't know what the value of this ticket would be in terms of applying it to AP. Sorry. I could tell you what I assume it would be, but it's best for someone to let you know for sure.;)

Not sure you can do what you are contemplating because I do not know what the rules are applicable to the free dining, but usually for an unused ticket applied to purchase of AP, the usual credit is the price you paid for it but you lose the portion that was taxes for which you do not get a credit.
