I agree,trying to sleep at night is horrid here its soo sticky and muggy.

Ive cut the grass and now very sweaty so a nice cool soak me thinks before we go out later.
Poor DP is blowing up the pool we've just bought how come he didnt buy the one with a pump?:rotfl: :confused3
And DD has had a massive water fight with all her friends so they are soaked but happy:thumbsup2

Decided not to sit out in it ill about 3:30 ish as not to good with heat, but had a nice hour sitting reading (which is unusual for me as i can't sit still) with a glass of shandy, come in to cook some tea might go back out later on and sit and read again!

Its has been very hot here today, DH and i went on a 5 mile bike ride this morning before he went to work. I managed to get alot of gardening done today and all of my house work. I am feeling the heat today!!:)

Same here,it's very sticky though-it's going to be hard to get to sleep tonight.Dh is on his Ds Lite,i am dis-ing+we are enjoying an ice cold bottle of wine with some Luther Vandross playing-although Hubby would prefer Slipknot :lmao: .x.

I agree what a horrible night, I woke up several times in the night, but it then kinda cooled off around 3am. Now it just looks miserable outside....but that might be because i've just hung some washing out...sorry folks:lmao:

Same here girls-have hardly slept all night,even dd3 kept waking up every hour saying she was hot.Dd7 slept right thru.Been up since 6am,as i still could'nt sleep.It is baking here already this morning.Supposed to be 87deg today here-feels like it already.x.

I like the warm weather but.....
DD2 slept for 13 hours :thumbsup2 Eldest DD5 was up and down like a yoyo last night. Neighbours were having huge teenage BBQ party (understandable) so it was noisy with the windows open and hot with them closed - couldn't win! She is very tired today.
Then to top it off, there was a fire somewhere in the area and the house was stinking of smoke - coupled with the heat was not good.

1st day off since beginning of May (as its DWs birthday) and its cloudy, sea fret drifting in, really disapointing.
Been sweltering all week. Have to wear boiler suit, hard hat, safety glasses, safety boots, gloves all the time at work.
Typical, no chance of catching a few rays.So busy at work dont know when next day off will be, probably day before we leave, will be going to Florida a shade darker than a pint of milk.

It s really hot here yesterday here too. We went to the park but could only really take it for 2 hours. Came home with 2 red faced children, despite coveringthem inftor 50 suncream after we ran out of water (brought 3 big bottles with us! lol).

It's cooler today but still nice to sit outside. We ate our dinner last night and breakfast this morning outside.:D

Today was nice most of the day but yesterday was scorchio! I was helping out at a holiday club and we went to the local 'maize maze' (a really good idea with 19 primary school children.. Not!! :eek:) and some of the kids were burnt to a crisp in just a couple of hours =/ I like the warm weather but not when I have to work! ;)

Mini athletics with girls at 0930 then we got home and it was too nice to stay in but paddling pool wasn't blown up so I packed a picnic and we went to local park that has a paddling pool and it was packed, then on to another sport session this afternoon - needless to say they are already in bed:goodvibes
