Ooohhh! Can't wait to check out what they have. I've been wanting the Pooh font. Last time they had them on sale I end up buying 3. Oops! Don't know how that happened :rolleyes1 .

I should be going to bed soon so I can be there when they open. Hoping to get Pooh Font since I don't have that one yet. I didn't get a chance to go today to stake it out.

Supposedly there is an offer going until August 8th if you buy 3 carts at Michaels you can get Design Studio free. They don't actually send you the Design studio, just an activation code. There is more info on the Cricut boards.

I don't have CDS, so I have the opposite problem...I know I want both Pooh carts, but I'm not sure what to get for the third.

I'd get Cutting Up but with SCAL, I'm trying not to buy non-Disney fonts. I wish they had My Community, but they don't. The shape carts they have that I don't have yet are like Beyond Birthdays, New Arrival, Christmas Cheer, Fabulous Finds, Locker Talk, Going Places, Doodlecharms I think. And I'm not terribly excited about any of them.

Last time they had Animal Kingdom, I'd get that one...I'm sure I could flock some animals. But I didn't see it yesterday. So it will probably be either Doodlecharms or Christmas Cheer.

Hopemax, did you know you do not need CDS for SCAL? All you need is the trial version, and to upgrade your firmware. Trust me, if I can do it anyone can.

I know, but I want both because I want to be able to weld the Cricut shapes too. So if I can get one for almost free and then the coupon for SCAL, then I will be happy.

Retail is $90, but like the carts you can get it for cheaper. I think Walmart sells it for $65?

Ok, I'm going tuesday and if they don't have the ones I want I'll get a raincheck. But I'm getting the Dreams come true and paper doll cart. I'd thought I'd go ahead and get a 3rd so I can get the design thing which one do you guys suggest? I already have the mickey font, mickey and friends and happily ever after.

And from my understanding of the offer for the free CDS you don't even have to pay for shipping since they just send you the activation code, not the actual disc. Which isn't a bad deal.

I just got the Pooh Font. I didn't need or want any of the other ones they had. There wasn't that many people there when they opened.

The one lady had like 8-10 in her cart. My Michaels didn't have that great of a selection, but they did have the newer ones.

I picked up PDDU, Christmas Cheer, JOTS, Doodlecharms, Zooballoo and Stretch Your Imagination. I can't wait to try them all out.

I have two M's fairly close to me, and one of them had all the carts on a rack, with the carts in the packaging, the other one had them all in their locked cage at the front of the store. There was no one else either of my two stores checking out the carts at all, and both stores had a really good supply.

Pooh Shapes, Pooh font and Doodlecharms for me.

Not as many people at the store as last time, but still probably about 15. One lady was looking for Jasmine and they didn't have it on the main rack. But I was there yesterday and saw they had a couple in the cage, so we went over there. She got her Jasmine, I got my Doodlecharms, and then a swarm of people came over to grab the odds and ends that weren't on the main rack.

I got Pooh Font and DD picked out one for my bday (not sure if it will be Opposites Attract or Stretch Your Imagination). I was pumped to get Pooh as it completes my Disney collection thus far. I told DH this and DD says "No, it doesn't Mom, you don't have the Cars or the Tink cartridge!" I told Miss. Smarty Pants that those weren't out yet. :rolleyes:

At my M's, they had two racks of carts: a regular rack by the door and then the "locked" ones (where it's just the empty box and the manager has to get them). I found the Pooh cart on the unlocked rack, but not the Pooh font, so I thought, "Oh well, I'll just get this one then." Then I made the mistake of going over to the "locked" rack and there was the Pooh font cart too. So of course I had to get it so the other cart wouldn't be lonely!:rolleyes:

Creative Express will price match the M's price of $40, even on the new cartridges:). It took several calls to get through, but I finally did and ordered Storybook, it was $48.xx with shipping, but that's still better than retail of $90. The phone number is 800-563-8679 for anyone who is interested. Go to their website and jot down the SKU # for what you want to order as that is how they take the order, by item #.

I did that as well. Couldn't let Pooh and Friends be lonely since the Princesses have each other and Mickey and Friends has Mickey Font. Pooh and Friends was feeling so unloved. :) :lmao:

I got both the Pooh carts! Couldn't decide between the two so I went ahead and got both. :) After all, it did complete my Disney collection, for now. Also I bought the Animal Kingdom too. I wanted more but I restrained myself.

Okay, so I exchanged my Doodlecharms for Locker Talk. Locker Talk will be on its way to NEE for My Community. Then I stopped in the Michael's that is across from Archivers and they had Animal Kingdom, so I got that one. And then I bought Flock at Archivers so I can flock my AK animals. :rolleyes1

I am SOOOO done. :lmao:

I saw on the cricut site that you have to send in your Micheal's reciept and some other info and they will send you the access code to put into the free version and then you'll have the full version. HTH

I ordered Storybook from Creative Express. It took me forever to get through - when I talked to the person, she said they had been inundated with calls and that she had over 400 messages on her voice mail. I guess I just got lucky and caught her at the right time!

I got Stretch you Imagination. Looks like a lot of fun.

I saw picts of the new Wildcard cart that is coming out soon. I really want that one. I am going to have to wait till they go back on sale I guess. Don't want to pay full price (or e-bay price) for that one if I can avoid it. (I am too cheep LOL)
