Last summer all the longhouse rooms were repainted and minor repairs were done as needed. The only longhouse that went through a more extensive rehab was Tuvalu.

Thanks Steve.

We wanted to do lagoon view concierge for our stay next month but its not available. gard view concierge was only $21 more than our std lagoon view total. so I took it.

please tell me I won't be sorry without that MK view. I figured the cost of bottled water would be worth staying in concierge.

I know you like the lagoon view the best.......but I was on the fence. plus I am hoping for a lagoon cancellation before I go. :)

thanks for your help

I was at the Polynesian in March and they were redoing the main atruim insuide and outside by the monorail entrance. Also the waterfalls. Do you know if the are done, or when they will be??

I really missed seeing the waterfall and all the tropical foleage.

Any news?

Disney-Kim,

I thought the standard LV room was the same price as the GV concierge. It use to be. I don't think you will miss the double sink. I have been in both type of room and I did not find it a big deal. It gives you a little more space but not a deciding factor.

IAMaGR8DISMOM,

The fountain is fixed and was supposed to be up and running at the end of last month. They are still landscaping it but that should be done soon also.

Tikiman,
I know that the prices were the same last year but the AP rate we have for May was $21 more for the total stay.

My DH says its my decision between std lagoon view and garden concierge.

I just thought the extra amenties would be great. the refrig, the bottled water, and breakfast.

Since our stay is less than 3 weeks out I thought about emailing the concierge since I probably won't get the questionaire in time.
Do you think thats okay?

thanks for your help and anyone elses too !!!!!!!!!!:smooth:

I think you will enjoy the concierge service. You have to try it once so why not now. You can email the concierge staff at any time even if you get the itinerary from them.

Concierge Garden View is now (rack rate) $5 per night more than Standard Lagoon View.

well that explains it. I figured it was the AP rates since the discounts have been all over the place this year.
